Basic Information

The weapon is prone to using NM 142 MK Mod 208 rounds, which although are more expensive, are made especially useful in .30-06 round cartridges and tend to have a powerful, widespread effect on the area it intends to hit.

The weapon also exploits a 24 inch, free floating, gyroscopicaly stabilized hammerforged polygonal barrel with a 1/254mm twist. While somewhat expensive, the barrel offers a much stronger, and accurate platform for firing high grade projectiles. Despite this precision built barrel, the weapon only gets the standard of 1 MOA at it's minimum effective range, however it can be much more accurate at closer ranges (-.1 MOA per 150 meters). It as well can actually afford to be free floating, despite it's nature to fire automatically, by inserting several Impact Gel pads into the barrel-rifle connection areas.

The weapon also uses an integrated under barrel tube fed 25 x 40mm grenade launcher. The round used is similar, and actually the same used in the XM25 weapons system, although it isn't in need of the scope it possess, already possessing all the necessary equipment to program and aim the explosive. Although the tube fed magazine is slightly odd, it allows for the device to be fitted in a more compact nature, and allows for the grenade launcher to either be semi-automatic or pump-action.

The weapon breaks away from the traditional 7.62mm x 51mm NATO round and instead returns to a modernized .30-06 round, or 7.62mm x 63mm round, that can launch a 12 gram projectile at 880 m/s, producing roughly 4,558 joules. The increased projectile weight and speed allows the weapon to engage targets at a regular range of 1100 meters or 1210 yards, although the maximum kill range for this round is much farther, being between roughly 3000 and 3800 meters, depending on the conditions.
