Hauntedherat groaned and looked over the foot. "iyt's not paralyed, just sprained and the sprain is barely anything. You call yourself a warrior, grow up!" she growled and the flicked ehr tail for the apprneitce ot leave.

Starpaw had been watching, and now dropped a plump mouse in front of Hauntedheart. "You didn't have to be so harsh. " Starpaw mewed casually. But she heard the medicine give a low growl, and Starpaw shrank back. "Just a suggestion." Starpaw murmured turning to Mistpaw and Kioclaw. The new warrior had just earned her name the night before. Mistpaw, Starpaw's sister sat beside Kioclaw. But a glimpse of worry was in Mistpaw's eyes, and Starpaw knew it was because Hauntedheart had done nothing to help. I bet Starclan was wrong. Starpaw thought, I would make a much better medicine cat then that darn cat Starpaw wondered how could she think this. Hauntedheart was Starpaw's old mentor. She had enjoyed Hauntedheart's wise advise, which made Starpaw even more determined.
Suddenly Starpaw knew what she had to do. She took probably the smallest portion of dried moss and headed for Kioclaw. She can't tell me what to do. Starpaw thought. I know what's right. It might be a sprained paw, but it still could lead to infection. She glared at Hauntedheart who was talking to Stormblaze, an elder. She turned away but then heard a low growl. Starpaw braced herself for disproving words from Hauntedheart, for she had heard it so many times. I had to, Starpaw eyes clouded with fear. Can't Hauntedheart see that?

"A warrior apprentice yes!" Starpaw admitted. "I may not be a medicine cat anymore yes! But my duty is to my clan, and when a clan member needs me I can be there to help. Do not you agree Stormblaze?" Starpaw asked flicking her tail impatiently.
"It would agree in any case Starpaw," the wise old tom said, "but Hauntedheart is medicine cat. I advise you to put the herbs down."
"Starpaw," Mistpaw said nudging her sister. "Do what he says. There is no point in arguing."
"But Kioclaw might need help!" Starpaw protested. Hauntedheart gave her a look that told her she might be able to learn a thing or two from her sister. Starpaw's eyes shrank, defeated. She placed the herbs exactly where she had found them. "Happy?" she hissed. "Hauntedheart you got what you wanted. You believed I was not fit for this but I may have just proved you wrong.

Starpaw saw concern in the old she-cat's eyes. Her brother Foxclaw, a great warrior of Thunderclan had died only a few moons ago. Starpaw shook herself. She knew how sad it was losing a kin. Her mother was kicked out of Thunderclan only when Starpaw was only a few moons old. Starpaw had no clue where she was now. Her father, Timestar, had been the past leader of Thunderclan. He had died of murderer only moonrises before Starpaw had been born. Don't think about this! Starpaw told herself. She looked up at Hauntedheart, "You aren't the only one with a lost family member." she said glancing at Mistpaw. Her sister beamed, as if she did it so she couldn't tell Starpaw how much it hurt for her to say that.
Stormblaze gave her a disturbed flick of his tail.
"I will leave." she murmured. "But don't think I'll stop trying to help."

Icepelt walked inside, bleeding on his right side. "Hauntedheart, I was attacked by badgers. Can you help?"

"Ok I'll try it thanks for the advice."

Moonpaw: "Well, while we were training ICepelt smeled a badger and told me to hide. I wanted to help but he insisted I hid. So I found a place where i could watch without being seen. He fought so well! But he still got clawed on his side and fell down. I rushed out to protect him and did so until he got up. Together we chased it away. He was very grateful and complimented my skills. I think I might be a warrior soon Mistypaw!"
