Well, I found out that my Band Director is the Lead Guitarist of a Band named "Disaster Kit" :]

I found out my BD is thought as hot by my best friend's aunt. Does that count? Well doesn't matter. I found out he DOES have a sex life. redface

He used to be in a rock band in college, and played rock trombone.
He ran track in high school...which is just hilarious because he looks like a scarecrow when he runs.
Nobody knows how old he is because his birthday is always the week -before- band camp. And he won't tell us exactly when it is.
His son plays trombone, too.
He has a 'yacht' that he goes out on during the summer, and he's camping-obsessed on long weekends.
Although he says he hates electric guitar (says it's 'not an instrument'), he still likes rock music.
If there's more, I've forgotten. I definitely spend too much time in the band room, or H talks too much.

my bd took a band he taught and won the nationals.....idk how long ago though.....?

Mrs.Church has a five year old boy and is due to have another boy in a few weeks. She hates the Beatles and Mission Impossible movies. She goes to the track and walks three miles every day after she drops her son off back home after school. She refuses to buy any new maternity shirts because 'she'll only use it for a few months.' she gets freaked out if you touch her ears or feet, but loves to have her back rubbed. she plays flute, trombone, and tuba. and she hates concert season as much as we all do xd

My parents and some of their friends used to baby-sit my BD when he was a little kid.

Only a few people know that our BD has a tatoo of a bass clef on his shoulder. He rarely shows it off so most people aren't sure if the rumors are true. I've only seen it once myself. I think he has a treble clef on the other arm but I'm not sure.

My BD was the first chair in State All-Valley back in his day. 8]
He originally wanted to be a chef, but then met his wife in college and decided to go into music because she was studying to become a BD at that time.
Which reminds me, his wife is a BD too. And his two daughters are in our band. :] We get most of our stories from those two.

My band director has a tatoo of a flute with a treble cleff on her shoulder, and is going to Alaska to get married this summer

Ours is a trumpet/vocal for a band called the Los Hooligans.
He's also an Alpha of Kappa Kappa Psi at Fresno State, and goes out to eat "ice cream" with his friends on his birthday. He hates cantaloupe, too.
