Lydia had received something in the mail recently discussing her young daughter Abigail. They had gone to get the mail together, and upon hearing her name when reading who the letters were addressed to (almost always her mother) the girl had jumped and giggled, wondering what it had been. Sadly, she was mildly disappointed when it wasn't a card or a picture like she had been hoping, but instead a request to attend an appointment at the lab she had been conceived in.
Now the mother and daughter stood in the labs, waiting their turn as the girl jumped around, being sure not to step on any cracks in tiles and being a tad bit mischevious as she sometimes had a tendency to do. "Momma, is it time yet?" she asked, looking up.
"Patience child." the mother replied, listening at the desk for directions of where to go. Upon hearing, she began to lead her daughter to the area described.

They were greeted by an adorable child with long rainbow hair. "ABBBBBBBBBIIIIIIIIII!" Jillian squealed, running over to hug the toddler and then her mother.
"Nice to see you booooooooth! Are you here to see Rainbow-mommy?"

The young ginger's face lit up at the sight of Jillian and she ran to wrap her arms around the other in an adoring embrace. "Sure am! I missed joo! But is this scawy? Am I gonna get lotsa questions asked and stuffs?" she asked Jillian, never having participated in such a meeting before. She was a bit nervous, though because of her hyperactive nature it didn't show much.

"No silly! You go meet your real mommy and you get to ask her stuff and give her hugs!" Jillian giggled and hugged her little half sister and smiled.

Abigail let out an over-exaggerated sigh of relief, "Phew! Momma didn't know what exactly this was, so I was worried it was like a doctor check-up or somethin', and I wasn't gonna liek it. But I like hugs 'nd stuffs!" she said, now excited to meet her real mother. "When can I see her then!?" obviously her nervousness had disappeared after Jillian had explained.

"No, Doctor Mommy gives checkups this weeeeekend. Gonna call all parents and give treats and let kids plaaaay." Jillian said with a nod before taking Abigail's hand. "Come this way!"

"Oh, okay. I can do iiiiit, will I get a sucker?" the young girl puckered her lips, almost like she was going to kiss someone. She smiled when the other girl took her hand and trotted along happily beside her as she led her to meet her real mother. "I hope our mommy's nice." she said, though she was sure she was due to the way Jillian spoke of these meetings.

The room she was led to looked like a completely different place inside. It was all blue sky and large fluffy clouds. Stretched out on one of those clouds was a woman with a tight silky black dress and a large fur wrap. Her hands were long and thin, and she had no feet what so ever. Her hair was thick and fluffy, cloudlike partly and blonde another way. There were two large pigtails with rainbow stripes and more cloud poofs extending from her main cloud-fro and she looked cheery.
"Oh, hello little dear. Here to see me?"

Abi's eyes were wide as she gazed around the room, taking in every detail. The environment was like nothing she had ever seen, she was still inside, right? After the initial surprise had passed she snapped out of it and looked towards the woman who had addressed her.
"Huh? Oh! Yeah, I am. Yer my mommy! Hai, I'm Abigail." the girl introduced, a bright smile on her face as she did so. She looked rather excited now, the woman was very pretty, and it gave her hope that she would be that pretty when she grew up.

"Nice to meet you." she was gorgeous, to say the least, and gave the air of an old timey actress with her mannerisms. "Come see me, child, and let me look at you."

The young girl walked over, approaching the female with a certain lightness of her own. She still had a bounce to her step, but was a bit more calm when going towards the other. She smiled when she reached her though, and waved gently and batted her eyes while she blushed at the presence of such a pretty woman. She had to admit, she was a bit jealous, but was sure she's be as beautiful when she was older. In fact, she was determined after seeing such grace.
"You're pretty."

"Thank you. I am often told that." the nymph said, lightly adjusting the fur she wore. Reaching out, she tilted up the little girl's chin. "Well, you aren't very bird-like. I think that does you credit. It means you'll growing up looking quite like me." that was a compliment of the highest order, coming from someone like Cloudy. She wasn't mean spirited, merely vain. She knew she was gorgeous and quite proud of it.

The young girl giggled and blushed, rather flattered by the comment and (being young) didn’t even notice the unintentional comment about her other half. ”Thanks I wanna look like you when I’m bigger, I hope I’ll be dat pwetty an’ stuff too.” she said with a curt little nod of her head. Being a child the vainness of the woman went totally over her head and it merely gave her an optimistic idea of how she might be when she was older.
"Am I s'pose ta ask you questions 'r somethin'?" Abi asked, obviously clueless to the process of these little meetings but enjoying it none the less.

"Maybe." the woman said lightly, playing with Abigail's curls a bit. "You're just supposed to be here at all, I'm told. But since I'm leaving soon, they wanted to give you a chance to meet me."

The young girl smiled and laughed a tinkling little laugh as her hair was toyed with and she conversed with the beautiful woman, "Well, I can't think of anythin' anyways." she said, attempting to think of a question but coming out blank.
After a moment she realized exactly what the woman had said, "Wait, why're you gonna go away?" she asked, her eyes wide with confusion as she looked up.
