The Red Chord is a technical Death/Grind/Metalcore group hailing from Massachusetts. I normally despise anything Grindcore related but there is just something about this band that I love. Thoughts?

I always thought they were just straight Deathcore/Metalcore.....I don't really get any Grind out of them...
But I also never really cared for them, however, they do seem to be better than most Deathcore bands, I still just don't really like them.

For the grind influence the pure chaotic, some times out of control nature of there music speaks for that. Oh, and also the stereotypically short song lengths.

I don't know, everytime I think of Grindcore I think of Porngrind bands and sound because thats the only kind of Grindcore that I truly like. Porngrind is awesome.

Really not my thing. Deathcore is pretty much a wash for me (disregard that I created a thread about TBDM, hurrrr). I don't like grind either, unless it's in the form of something like Terrorizer or Repulsion.
