Unlike his previous meetings with spawn this time around the silver haired man had energy. He was smirking even as he fussed around with the papers on his desk whilst he waited for girl for the current meeting to arrive.
Azubahiel. She was an interesting child, her 'birth' a strange coincidence with her features splitting down the center equally sharing the DNA parents traits and features.
He had been interested in how she had found life. Her appearance was so drastic he imagined she may of had some hardships...though many of the spawn probably had problems with their appearances as well. Oh well he would have to see...

'Zuba tugged at her hair, trying desperately to get it to behave as she approached the door. Yes, she knew that she was fighting a losing battle with her hair, but you had to look your best for an interview. She sighed, giving up with her hair. She wasn't going to try and lie to herself, she was nervous. Why would Mr. Vampy want an interview with her, of all people? She was probably the least interesting of all the spawn.
She took a deep breath, calming herself. This wasn't something to get too concerned about, right? Right, of course it wasn't. She reached out, knocking on the door lightly.

The door opened on its own accord whist Vampy continued to sit at his desk smiling up at her with a cat like grin. He was definitely in too good a mood for this, it would put anyone on edge.
"Good for you to join me Azubahiel," He gestured to the chair directly ahead of him on the opposite side of the desk he was currently sitting in front of. "Please...do come in. Would you like some tea? I can have someone bring it in for us if you would prefer to have something to snack on whilst we get ...to know each other better."
Yep. It was that smile, the tone. It would send any human fleeing the room as Vampy..was...NEVER in a good mood.

'Zuba bowed her head once out of habit before looking back up at the intimidating man behind the desk. "Thank you, sir." she said respectfully, slipping into the room and taking a seat. She smiled ever so slightly, shaking her head as she politely refused the offer. "No need to bother someone with that. I'll be okay." No need to bother someone for tea just for little ol' her!
The small pause wasn't lost on 'Zuba. She wasn't sure exactly why, but she felt extremely...on edge. She tried to ignore the feeling, reminding herself that she had nothing to worry about. As far as she was concerned, Vampy was a fair and reasonable man, and she hadn't encountered anything that said differently.

There were a number of reasons why she could of bee put on edge because of him. Besides the obvious fact that he was an imposing business man who ran the entire facility and there was definantely something not quite human about him. There were plenty of reasons to be nervous.
"It is no trouble.." he stated though he resisted the urge to buzzer in for some tea, he leaned back into his chair looking her over. "But if that is what you want..." he continued as he just chuckeled. She was the first one to not inquire why she was summoned, obiediantly just sitting there waiting for him to proceed.
"Tell me Azubahiel, are you happy?"

Azubahiel seemed to draw further into herself. She knew she was funny looking, but...but he didn't have to laugh at her. She heard that chuckle! Okay, so she wasn't quite sure that's what he was laughing at, but she wouldn't quite blame him if it was.
She paused at the question. "Well, there is no reason I shouldn't be," she started, picking her words carefully. "I have a healthy and happy baby boy, a shadow who doesn't steal all of my things, and I am moving in with the one I love." she said, smiling lightly. Ah, the art of answering a question without really answering. She knew she should be completely happy and content, and she tried really hard to be happy. Really, she did! But...

He gave her a look as he watched her in complete silence, he listened and nodded when it was appropriate to and then leaned an elbow on the table and stared at her with a humored expression.
"I didn't ask what you are doing in your life, I asked if you were 'happy'." He corrected her, obviously noting the fact she had avoided his question entirely. "Deep down are you happy? Do you like where you are in life? Do you hate something? Someone? Do you regret?" He pressed as these were the things he was more keen on finding out.

'Zuba shifted uncomfortable, looking down. "I should be happy." she said, her voice quieter. "Sometimes....sometimes I wish I could be prettier. I know it's selfish of me, but..." But Adhara deserved a prettier girlfriend, Mom deserved a prettier daughter....and if she was prettier than Ginger, she'd finally have something over the golden-haired little brat. "I want to look pretty, like my siblings and Adhara." she explained, looking down. "I try, but there's only so much hair ties and make up can do."
"....sorry for rambling." she said softly, earwing drooping. She shouldn't waste Mr. Vampy's time rattling on about her issues and what she wanted.

His expression seemed to become more cheshire like. A grin that only betrayed a hunger behind his eyes.
"Prettier? Is that so..." He started as he pressed his finger tips together idly staring at her with keen interest. His gold eyes flickered over her form.
"What exactly about yourself don't you like?" He continued giving a vague wave in her direction. He himself didn't see anything ugly about her. There were far more ugly creatures in the world...and she was certainly not ranked among them.

'Zuba shifted, falling silent a moment as she thought about it. "I don't like being split." she said, fiddling with her hands. "I have a certain sister who compares me to a Yugi-Oh card. And, it's not fair; other kids get to have both head wings, while I only get to have one. Other kids have nice, subtle changes in skin tone, if they have any at all. Mine's a jagged and rough line down my middle."
The girl shifted, uncomfortable with talking about herself. She wasn't important enough to talk about! But, if that was what he wanted to know. "My hair gets in the way, to. I try and try everything to get it to look nice, but half of it refuses to cooperate. Ever." She tried tucking a strand of it behind her ear to demonstrate, only to have it snap back to its position of sticking straight out. She sighed, feeling guilty. She knew she should focus on what she already had, but she couldn't help but mourn all that she lacked.

There was a sudden scent of cinnamon in the room, it wasn't overpowering, just surprisingly that it would appear in this room while having an interview with this man in particular. The silver haired man was only smiling as he looked the young woman over.
"Is that so?" He started out slowly a long drawn out sentence considering how few words he said. It hung in the air like he was thinking about something the room quiet as he only nodded his head.
"If I told you...there was a way to grant your desire? Would you take it?"

The sudden scent caught 'Zuba off guard. She glanced around the room with her eyes, searching for the source the aroma. Odd, there wasn't any food in here that could give off the scent... Something was off, but she just couldn't seem to put her finger on it.
Goldeny-green eyes looked up at the silver-haired man, regarding him with caution. "Depends...what would the cost be?" she asked, her tone quiet and respectful, and yet.....interested. She wasn't a stupid girl; she knew nothing came free. Everything had a price.

He twisted in his seat a moment, the tips of his fingers pressed together as he looked away from her. It was hard, as he really wanted to get her to agree on changing herself. Not that he thought she was ugly...no.. he just was greedy when it came to making contracts.
"What if I told you it was a one time only offer? That I couldn't tell you the price right this instant? But if you decline...now...it wont be offered again?" He stated as he finally looked back at her to see her reaction.

The split spawn looked troubled. That was definitely a huge, glaring red flag. She knew she should decline; just follow her gut instinct and refuse. But...she wanted to be pretty for Adhara. For her baby boy. And, as selfish as she was, she wanted to be pretty for herself. She wanted to look in the mirror and have something worth looking at.
The girl was silent a moment, her golden earwing hugging close and low to her head; a definite sign of worry. She couldn't believe she was doing this, but. "Then I'd have to accept now then, wouldn't I?" she said, her voice gaining a little volume as she looked up at Mr. Vampy.

The man only nodded his head and then a peice of paper appeared before him, he took out his gold pen and clicked it.
"That's right...but like all my contracts they are final. I can give you what you want, you want to be pretty? Normal even? I can give you that...I can take away your grey skin..I can give you...anything you want." He explained slowly as words seemed to appear magically upon the parchment.
They were forming a contract based on his thoughts and her desires.
"Do you wish to hear my price? Or will you be too afraid that you will back out?"
