Hey all! So, a short time ago I had an idea. Since the RP timeline will soon be approaching Christmahanukwanzaakah Christmas, how about we have a Christmas party within the RP? I've okayed it with Lorika-sama, as long as we all brainstorm on this one and it's a cooperative effort. So, here's my ideas so far on how to do it: ~Have it within the RP ~I'm exploring avatar edits, so I can design people ball attire over tekteked bases. I also have tekteked some basic ball backgrounds, and I'm willing to design stuff for a minimal fee. (<200g) ~Also arrange a meetup in Towns somewhere, as just a chat thing ~Assemble a music list, but I'm not sure how we would add it into the RP ~Have a Girl's Day of Pampering for most of the females in the RP, at the Onsen, the day before/day of ~Have Oz do the catering and give everybody food poisoning~Introduce the unseen NPCs (Celeste would be great to have in the RP, plus Yokuan will be arriving and possibly spiking the punch~) Sound like fun? Sound like it might be canon enough? ...I mainly want to do it to force Hyaku into a slinky dress.

A ball, a ball~ Yep, like I said to meta, if everyone likes this idea I can have the idea implanted into Lorika's head and have her arrange stuff. So if y'all could think about:
1. Where you want it to be.
2. What kind of attire - formal, informal?
3. What kind of food - a sit down dinner or a buffet?
4. What kind of music?
5. Should we call it Christmas, or Clammas? XD
Ahhh, sorry to disappoint but Celeste cant come into the rp yet ;3; He's actually nothing to do with the Order at the moment, but may be in the future - I'm not sure yet.

At first when I saw this, I thought it was to plan a celebration for next Christmas for publicity, and I was like "I thought I was the only one who prepared for Christmas this early."
But, oh, yes, yes, yes!!! Please????!!!!

sounds like fun! the RP is moving slowly anyway
I VOTE:
1- the nearest large field, spellcasters can help make a huuuge tent
2- anything goes
3- buffet
4- techno/alternative
5- well, it is being held on RP-Christmas, so 'Christmas'
...perhaps just before/after Halloween we could have Clammas, the 'Overseer's Christmas'
when/where's the in-RP announcement going to be

2. Formal! That's the whole point of a ball, IMHO.
And... well, Santa-theme wouldn't work aaaall that well, especially for those who don't even have a Santa on their homeworlds.
And I already started Hyaku's dress design...
I may get Yokuan into something like that, if you'd like.
3. Buffet with optional tables. Makes it easier on Oz~.
4. Classical, with some folk, or really, just about anything. How about a mix of whatever people want?
5. Christmas! I second Mabo's motion.

1 ~ Somewhere nice. (Idk exactly where)
2 ~ Formal! Cuz then I can wear a top hat! (lately I've been making OCs with top hats...*coughcough*)
3 ~ Buffet! Cuz then we could all get up and dance to the music! XD
4 ~ Anything super awesome. (I'm partial to rock, pop, instrumental, j-rock/pop, etc.)
5 ~ Both! >=D lol
Hmm...maybe I should start planning Alexi's and Total's outfits...maybe Total will have a giant lighted wreath around his flower pot! XD

This appears to be the consensus so far:
1. WITHIN the RP
2. Avatar Edits available (Will have thread up later)
3. Possible Towns meetup
4. Assemble music list
5. Music will be anything people want (TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT and I'll assemble a playlist
6. Oz is the cook for this
7. Will probably be in the Assembly Hall, as that's the biggest indoor space at the Order, OR in a nearby field.
...Maybe we could do it in the Arena! 8D
8. Formal attire!
9. Christmas! Clammas will be earlier in the year
10. BUFFET, nya~.

I love this => And yeah, I agree if that's the popular consensus - main hall spilling out onto field. LOLZ I just realised it's a good thing the drow won't be there, they'd SCHOOL Y'ALL in dancing >=o They'd start off all serious like thisssBut then suddenly... KABLAM!Nobody would've seen it coming.
