Indeed. Sadly, the only ones you find online these days are the very poorly constructed ones. I've seen bad renditions of the Revolver model and ones of the Lionheart that just make me weep. If only their were still sellers of the old, high quality gunblades. ninja

Yeah...the closest thing you can get to a gunblade is a bayonet..I know REAL gunblades don't shoot since its really used as a vibroblade to inflict more damage upon striking but still..xp it would be cool nonetheless if they could shoot

I'd commit murders if I could have a decent looking gunblade irl. (I've got a gunblade but it doesn't count since it's an object on Second Life. xd )

I would pick Squall's gunblade...it's bigger and it has a longer reach than lightning's gunblade...lightnings gunblade looks more like a pocket gunknife or something unlike Squall's it's a good decent hefty blade with raw power....plus I like Squall's style and gunblade model better it just looks cooler to me with the barrel on it and chain dangling from the butt end of the gunblade xp but yeah thats me you feel free to choose whichever one you want.......I wonder where you can find a really good decent gunblade that isn't cheap or made out of crappy material

I say Squall's but that's my VIII bias at work. xd
I'm trying to get a job so I can get one myself. There's this super-epic Squall cosplayer (goes by the moniker "Score"), makes amazing gunblades. Totally wanna commission him for one, but I dunno if I want Revolver or Lion Heart. Or shock everyone and get the Sheer Trigger or Punishment... xd

When I do find a good quality gunblade I am gonna go for the original model....the first gunblade model Squall has at his disposal at the beginning of the game.......even though it doesn't look fancier or have all these wicked paint designs that all the other models have, I just can't help but like it, for it's plainness and unique originality....I don't know the revolver model looks so awesome to me........like it doesn't need all that pimped out stuff to be cool xp

[ The Emo Ninja ] Indeed. Sadly, the only ones you find online these days are the very poorly constructed ones. I've seen bad renditions of the Revolver model and ones of the Lionheart that just make me weep. If only their were still sellers of the old, high quality gunblades. ninja First thing: I've seen at conventions MUCH better renditions of the Revolver gunblade that has a functional trigger, snapping hammer, and turning cylinder and even looks like the "real" thing from the game... as opposed to the cheap, die-casted model that doesn't look as good and is way too bulky. Second, while supposedly Squall's blade doesn't actually fire a bullet, Seifer's is supposed to be able to. It's been describe as having two blades that gradually merge at the edge and this sorta functions as a "barrel" for the bullet to travel along, tho it's still highly inaccurate and only effective at extremely short range (like striking range close). Furthermore, I think that it's not practical as Square describes the revolver.... the shockwave from a bullet of that calibre striking the butt of the blade internally would most likely shatter it... unless the blade were made of some kind of resilient metal alloy...
