☪ REBELLIOUS ☪ Mayu is quite rebellious at heart, whether this stems for the fact that her parent's are Nobles, and are thus rebellious themselves (in relation to the Emperor) or of her own volition, isn't really seen. But don't assume that she's rebellious against her superiors. She's devoted to the Noble's path and advancing their purpose within the land, and as such will heed their word. Her rebellious side rears its head more or less when she's told to do something that's within her full power. Sexual, status, or racist prejudice pisses her off more then anything else and she will fight against it without heed to other people's whims. This trait could cause Mayu to set out to accomplish missions and battles in the fastest way she can think possible, as best she can. She doesn't think she's the best but she's going to work harder then most to get things accomplished. Her goal is to be feared no matter if she's female or not.
☪ LOYAL ☪ Mayu is genetically inclined as a loyal person. Not only to the Nobles and their cause but also to her friends and family. Even with her parent against Noble women fighting within the ranks of the Retainers, she doesn't leave their side in disgust, or disown them. She's aware of her familial duty, and will stand beside her family as strong and astute as she possibly can, for as long as they will allow. In respect to her friends, Mayu will always be there, doing her best to assist and protect. She can sometimes be socially awkward, and not have the words to express what she's feeling or thinking, but her steadying hand will be there to right them when the road gets to confusing to navigate.
☪ SECRETIVE ☪ Mostly due to her parent's objections and opposition, Mayu has developed quite a secretive nature, so much so that's it's apart of her personal being. Secrets are kept when given to her listening ear, unless spying for the Nobles, and occurrences within her life are kept close to her heart and far from her mouth. This might come up as an issue in the future if exposed to a situation where it would be better for her to divulge what's occurring in her life, as opposed to her normal processes. But she'll cross that bridge when she comes to it and hopefully survive it and be stronger.
