A Fantasia festival would be awesome! I think we should wait for awhile, since it's going to take a lot of planning, but mostly because we have few active members at this point. XP

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking variations on the tektek contest (probably more than one, and could definitely have one for the girls to decide Miss Fairy Tail, just like in the manga), trivia contests (both Fairy-based and not), games (prizes optional - I'm thinking special game threads, but could also try hide-and-seek or something in zOMG XD), and special missions/duels just for the occasion. 3nodding Could also have art/poetry contests if we have enough people willing to submit things, and perhaps a story contest with a different theme every year (like saddest, funniest, weirdest, most moving, etc.).

Banners/graphics are always fun, so we'll need all our artists in the Guild to help with that. ^_^

Now the most important thing about festivals is their date. Like I said, I think we should wait and see when we get enough active members, and then before things slow down activity-wise, we start planning for Fantasia, and let the date be decided then.

Artist here! And I totally agree with the Fantasia Festival idea! biggrin

I was thinking maybe I can talk with each member to see how they'd like me to draw their character, and then I can draw the whole guild all dressed up for the Festival or something. If I somehow manage to get a lot of time, then I might even be able to draw a part of the Festival manga-style (I try to copy Mashima Hiro's art style. Can't say it's exactly like it, but I try.)

This is just an idea. I'm not sure I can do all that since I have school and homework taking up my life. The least I could do is draw each member or something. sweatdrop

Haha, glad you guys liked the ideas! Having it in the summer is a great idea. Maybe sometime in mid-July, since some people out here in the US don't get out of school until mid-June, and some start school again as early as August. =O July seems like the "free month" XD.

Having it in July also gives us more time to plan and organize, and artists time to work on things. 3nodding

I can't remember, but was Fantasia like a week-long thing, or just one day? Either way, I think our event should be like 3-7 days; enough time for people to participate if they can't be online on one day, but not too long where we'll run out of stuff for people to do. >.>;

Of course there's gonna be a Tournament. That was the best part of the Fantasia arc. It will be a whole day event. Maybe we should start sign ups for the contests soon... Maybe start next month!

I will be able to throw in a few fanfiction one-shots as prizes if needed. I'm a fanfiction author although most of my fanfiction are poetry but this looks like fun.
