Naki
The Adventurer
Name: Naki
Meaning: ???
Personality: Naki is obnoxious and annoying. Although he's never actually encountered a demon, he considers himself to be a great adventurer; and tries his best to travel Nippon. He likes the majority of the Kuniku he encounters and seems to not notice flaws others might, but in turn he assumes everyone he likes also likes him. He never considers the idea that he could be a bother or not useful. Naki tends to spend most of his time involved in frivolous activites such as chasing seagulls, investigating rock pools, or looking for a snack. He tends to smell of fish and salt.
His Story: Born in Kyushu, he has spent most of his life there and it will always be his favourite place to be. He travelled to Honshu in his adulthood where he encountered Gabi and spent a great amount of time with him; never realising the older male's hatred for him. Gabi eventually tricked him into catching a boat back to Kyushu without him, and that is where he currently resides.

Gabi
The Warrior
Name: Gabi
Meaning: ???
Personality: Gabi is cold and harsh like the island he hails from; and although he often doesn't take into consideration other's feelings when he talks to them he does try his best not to be too cruel. He hates Kuniku who seem lazy or unmotivated, and believes strongly in the tradition of fighting demons- judging other Kuniku's worth by their strength. If Gabi deems you worthy of being a companion he can become a great friend. Although he spends the majority of his time alone he doesn't particularly enjoy it, and often seeks the company of others in a roundabout way.
His Story: Although he will never tell you this, Gabi was humiliated by demons as a pup. He escaped with his life, but swore that he would never be so weak again, and has dedicated the rest of his life to making himself a better warrior. He travelled through Honshu recently, and appalled by the carelessness of so many younger Kuniku he is now considering forming a pack where he can teach them proper tradition.

Tori
The Flower
Name: Tori
Meaning: Bird
Personality: Tori is naiive and gullible. While she's a kind enough Kuniku, she tends to be self absorbed without realising it- thinking about her own feelings and wants before she considers other's. She is very clingy, hating to be alone, and so she always tries to have a travelling companion with her. She will believe almost anything she's told, and assumes that every Kuniku she meets will do her no harm.
Her Story: Tori's parents vanished during her childhood; she still doesn't know why or how. Due to this she spent the majority of her young life alone. Now, in her adulthood, Tori does everything she can to ensure she will never be alone again. She has spent all her life in Honshu, although she is interested in visiting Shikoku.

Buka
The Follower
Name: Buka
Meaning: Subordinate person
Personality: Buka is a very nervous boy. He has fun enough on his own; but with others he is constantly worried he is going to be a disappointment or appear weak and cowardly. He feels uncomfortable when others are depending on him or asking for his opinions or advice- and due to this he tends to gravitate toward Kuniku who are bossy, strong, or just have leadership tendencies. Buka couldn't be happier than when he has someone to tell him what to do.
His Story: Buka was born in the forest outside Maizoukin, and has never yet left the city or it's surrounding land. He is a common sight in the market district and down by the docks, or playing with the cattle in the farms outside the city's walls.
