It'd been awhile since she just hung out with Kay. They'd played when she was little like...once...that wasn't enough. Then she'd seen him that day with the nutbars, and then the day Tyyne arrived. But she wanted to just hang out with him again! She missed him! But she wasn't going to share him with Tyyne, so she made sure to sneak out of the house by herself lest the girl inquire as to her whereabouts and want to come along. She tolerated the girl, but she wasn't going to share her Kay with her, it was bad enough she had to share her Xai.
Unfortunately the only place she knew to find him was the Curio shop, and so that was where she was headed. Singing and dancing the entire way, Evari was wearing a large pair of headphones over her ears with the music blasting so loudly it could actually be heard pretty clearly. How this girl's ears weren't ringing and she wasn't deaf is a mystery to us all. But she was singing happily along with the music, clearly excited to get a chance to spend time with Kay again.
When she reached the Curio shop she let herself right in, still singing as she looked around for signs of Kay or even Switch. If Switch was here she could just ask where Kay was.
...Where were they?
Blinking, Evari turned off her music and pulled the headphones down to rest around her neck, pursing her lips and looking back at the door. Were they closed? But the door had been unlocked...so where was everyone? "...Kaaaaaay?" Evari called out, cupping her hands around her mouth to project her voice better. "Kaaaaaaaay, are you in here?"

Mrrh was in his usual place, lounging on the couch. It was his make shift bed for the moment, he hadn't had the drive to actually clear out and move into the room that had been given to him on the main floor of the shop.
Roxy was busy, Gera was scary as normal and well...Kay was with Roxy and thus Mrrh was left out again. He was getting rather annoyed with this, but he had been able to predict Kay's reaction fairly accurately. It pleased him..and irked him. He wa a hard boy to please.
He opened an eye an crack as he heard the yelling. Ah, that name. The bane of his existance...and yet the one thing that drove him. Sitting up he stretched all over and then stood, he rocked on his heels a moment listening to the clearly female voice calling out for Kay.
"Sorry to dissapoint," He called out as he walked towards the voice, the girl coming into view when he walked down the hall a bit. "But Kay's not here, you'll just have to suffer with me." He joked.

Where was he?! Evari was ready to start looking for him in case he was unconscious or something when she heard a male voice speak toward her, whirling around a few times in search of the voice. When the other boy finally appeared she blinked and just stared at him. He looked...kinda like Kay...he wasn't Kay but he looked like him. Was this one of Kay's brothers? Huh...
"Well if he's not here where is he?" And when was he coming back? Evari put her hands on her hips and pouted. She'd wait here all day if she had to! She wanted to see Kay, damnit! She looked this boy up and down again now that he was a little closer, noting the similarities. He looked like Kay! They had to be related somehow. "Who're you?" Evari asked with a hint of suspicion. She'd never seen him around before, and suddenly Kay wasn't here? Suspiiiciooous.

Mrrh inwardly flinched, geeze Kay was more popular than he thought. He looked the girl over and then realizing he had never seen her before...in his past life as a shrunken head or heard Kay speak of anyone quite like her he had no clue who she was.
"He is off playing with Roxy," He explained and then gave a shrug of his shoulders. He sounded a smidge bitter about being left out, though at the second question he gave a rather flamboyant bow in Evari's direction.
"I'm Mrrh, Kay's better half." He joked, though he sounded a bit semi serious.

Evari was a bit taken aback by Mrrh's answer. Roxy? But...but she liked Roxy? Why was Roxy hogging Kay?! That wasn't fair! She frowned, trying hard not to throw a fit. Maybe if she went to go find them she could get them to both play with her, because she wanted to play with Kay today. And if she couldn't then no one else should be allowed to either without her present! Hmph! His movement caught her eye and she watched him bow, raising a brow and tilting her head. Mrrh? What a strange name.
"Di'n't think he had a bad half." She said with a shrug, already rather upset now. Her whole plan for the day had been to see Kay. And now Roxy had stolen him? Not. Fair. "D'you know when he'll come back?" If it wasn't for awhile maybe she'd just leave, but if it was soon she'd stay. Evari blinked and squinted a little, peering at Mrrh and stepping closer. Did he have stitches on his face? How weird!
"...How come you don' got a skullface or headpet?" If he was truly Kay's 'half' then he should have those, right? It only made sense.

Mrrh only laughed, he could guess by the varying expressions flitting across the girls face she was less than impressed that Kay and Roxy were together and it wasn't her. Of course he'd rather be the one playing with Roxy...or just bugging the hell out of Kay which could be accomplished by playing with the young blond.
He chuckled, "Everyone has two sides to them," e explained a bit distantly before he refocused on the girl, "No idea when he is getting back, and I may not have a head..pet as you call it or a skull face but Kay and I are like..one and the same. I was a shrunken head he carried around before I became me." He explained after a momemnt.

Psh. That was a load of bull. There was only one side to Evari. Evari was Evari no matter what she did, she didn't give anyone a fake side. Okay, she did but she didn't let anyone know that. A look of dejection and disappointment washed over her face when he told her he had no idea when Kay would be back. He was a side of Kay! He should know, damnit! Evari sighed, crossing her arms across her chest. A shrunken head? Creepy. "Cool. Never saw him with a head thing." Which meant he must've gotten it after she met him, or just didn't have it that day. Either way, how interesting. So if it belonged to Kay...ha! That must've made Kay his guardian. Haha! Awesome.
"...S'with the stitches?" She decided she'd just ask. Why did he have stitches on his mouth? That was just weird.

Rather than explain it in detail Mrrh went about and then retrieved the shrunken head he use to be. He showed it to Evari.
"See, the mouth has stitches and so do the eyes...but I can see cause the stitches were cut." He explained to where some rather promitnant scars were above and below his eyes.
"So I have the stiches across my mouth too." He continued with anod of his head and then he gently went to put the head down. Perhaps after living a life before with Kay tossing him around and using him for bowling he felt like he needed to take more care of the head.

Evari blinked, coming closer to look at the head. Augh, gross. Why was there a shrunken head in the Curio shop? She looked up at him for comparison, noting the scars...and the stitches around his mouth. That seemed really inconvenient. How did he eat with stitches in the way? That was just silly! Evari rubbed at her chin and just stared at Mrrh's mouth while he put the the head down somewhere.
Suddenly she held a hand palm up and hit the side of her fist into her palm, beaming with pride as apparently the most brilliant idea popped into her weird head. "Then let's cut'em off~!" He'd be much happier without them, right? So they'd just cut them off like the eye stitches!

The older boy turned to give her a strange look, cut...them off? His stitches? He gave a chuckle,
"Now why would you want to do that?" he inquired as he came to stand before Evari again. She sure was a brightly colored child, she had a lot of energy like Roxy had. He wondered if all little girls just had boundless energy.
"I will have you know I like these stitches.." He stated a bit sarcastically, honestly? they were nice for a creepy effect, though a pain in the neck..it was lucky he didn't need to eat..only drink fluids to keep him hydrated.

Why? Well...she merely shrugged. Evari looked around until she spotted a pair of random scissors just sitting on a nearby shelf, picking them up with a grin. "I dunno! Why not?" That seemed like perfect logic. Why not try it? Huh? See! He couldn't fight that!
Evari tilted her head a little when he said he liked them, stepping up close with the scissors in hand, standing on her tiptoes to peer very closely at the stitches over his mouth. Seriously? How could anyone like stitches over their mouth? That was just stupid! Not to mention weird as hell! She pouted and put her hands on her hips, careful to hold the scissors in a way that wouldn't hurt her. "Yeah riiiiight. What's so good about 'em?" Evari challenged, still pouting.

Mrrh looked to the girl giving a tilt of his head as if to silently ask if she was serious. When she had grabbed the pair of scissors he figured apparently she was. He leaned a bit backwards when she held them up adjusting her grip so they couldn't hurt her.
"Hey now, you don't see me cutting your hair just because i think it would look better short..." He stated looking mildly pissed she seemed rather intent on cutting them.
"If you MUST cut them how about just one?" He offered a compromise.

Hmmm! Short hair, huh? Evari played with a bit of her hair and stared at the blue strands. It was just past her shoulders as far as length went. And it was just hair, it would always grow back. Her mismatched eyes turned to Mrrh to watch him quietly for a moment as he tried to compromise, noting how annoyed he was. It was just hair...and those were just strings...what harm could it do? "Let's make'a deal." Evari grinned, letting go of her hair and flipping it over her shoulder with the flick of her hand. "I'll letchaaa...cut my hair...like, this short." She put a hand to her chin to show how short she was talking. You had to admit, that was a lot of hair she was letting him cut off. "An'if y'cut my haaair...I get to cut...three stitches." He had five, so it wasn't like she was cutting them all off, right? She just wanted to see what he was like without stitches! Wouldn't it be more fun to not have them anyway?
Evari held a hand out to shake and make their deal 'official', grinning still. "S'cool?"

The tanned boy looked to the girl like she was nuts. She was actually going to let him cut her hair? He grinned giving a curt nod. "Sure...use this though...sentimental value.." he offered as he pushed his cape aside and pulled out the dagger concealed with in the inner pocket.
He offered the dagger flipping it so it was hilt first towards her. "Careful...its sharp."

Evari blinked and put the scissors down nearby to carefully take the dagger from Mrrh. Whoa, why did he have a dagger? That was just weird! He wasn't much older than her! How strange. "Uhhh, okay. Why d'ya got a dagger?" Evari furrowed her brow a bit, looking the dagger over and then holding it gingerly. Sharp, huh? Then it should cut those stitches easily! She hummed a bit and looked at the dagger and then his stitches, figuring out how to hold it properly.
"Lemme know if I hurtcha and I'll stop, 'kay?" She told him as she raised the blade of her dagger to his mouth, very carefully cutting away at the middle stitch. Huh...okay this wasn't so bad! Just two more. She cut the one to the left of it, and then the right. There, see? That wasn't so bad! Geeze! He made such a big deal out of nothing. "Ta da! Betcha you can move your mouth better too! And eatin' stuff won't be so hard." Because that was all that mattered. Being able to eat! Duh. He could have, like, hot dogs and cheeseburgers and pizza now! It'd be awesome! Maybe she'd even cut the other two off if he ended up liking this better. Evari looked down at the dagger she'd just cut the stitches with, giving a curious hum as she lightly poked at the tip of the blade. Ow. She looked at the little red dot on the tip of her glowing red finger, blinking and then pouting. How could he carry something so sharp?! Just a simple poke had her bleeding! Granted it was just a dot of blood but still!
