The sounds of Our Truth began to play out as words 'The Lotus Eclipse' appeared on the titantron. With the female lead sing yelling out, GBL took the stage in a classic Y2J pose. He held his hands out in the cross taunt for a moment before finally spinning around, placing a hand on his IC Title. With a smirk, he began his way to the ring while high-fiving some of the people in the crowd. He would then slide into the ring and set his title in the center of it. He extended his arms out and took his signature bow to pose for the crowd. After wards, he picked up his title and backed up to the ropes, awaiting the opponent that he has fought three too many times. Not much he could do about that.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!
~Angel rudely makes his way out to the ring following the champion...and that might just be because he feels that he was robbed at Place your Bets. He comes down the ramp making his way into the ring and stares out into the crowd who jeer Angel with the standard "Angel Sucks" chant. He reaches out for a microphone and stares over at GBL before looking out into the crowd~
"You are staring into the eyes of the man who should be your reigning Undisputed Champion. However, due to some bizarre series of events that somehow allowed Draven to make his way up the ladder and claim the title at Place your Bets...here I stand. Here I stand a man, not only screwed out of my title; but also a man who is forced to compete against the disgrace that is the current Intercontinental Champion. I mean honestly...the fact that GBL is even allowed to continue to compete is enough of a joke in my eyes. Last year, I defeated GBL in my return match...and if I remember correctly it started like this....
~Angel then lowers the mic looking out in the crowd who jeers him goes to strike GBL with the mic before the start of the match~

GBL listened and rolled his eyes, not knowing the threat coming. Without warning, he felt his head smashed with the mic as he ended up stumbling back and leaning against the ropes, holding his head.

~As GBL stumbled backward, Angel tossed the mic to the side. He then moved forward looking to trap GBL in the corner by placing his forearm against the throat of The Lotus Eclipse~

There wasn't too much he could do. In the daze he was in, he was pushed up against the turnbuckle with the forearm in the throat. He reached up to grab the arm as his eyes locked on Angel. At first, his face showed a bit of pain, but a light smirk suddenly took form. It was as if he was wanting Angel to take a shot at him now.

~Angel felt that he had the upper-hand, and went to try and get a wrist lock in on GBL. If successful he would look to drag GBL out of the corner~

The wrist-lock was in and he was dragged out of the corner. Without warning, though, he would try to reverse the hold into his own wrist-lock on Angel.

~The wrist lock was reversed and Angel stumbled around the ring, much to the delight of the fans in attendance. Angel would look for an opportunity to strike GBL with his off hand and if he connected would attempt to reverse the wrist lock back to his favor~

With the control, GBL held onto it until it was reversed right back. He grabbed at his shoulder before looking to Angel with an unamused glance. For a counter, he would just try to aim a kick directed toward the stomach.

~Angel stumbled back to the corner from the impact of the kick but managed to hold onto the wristlock. Angel would try to torque the wrist lock a little ,and if he could do this he would quickly try to climb backward up the turnbuckle setting himself up for a little stroll~

Angel goes for a superkick, GBL catches the kick. Spins Angel around. As he is spinning GBL turns and hits a Roaring Elbow. GBL then pins Angel!
