Okay, so the name of the song that plays during the opening of Suikoden III is called 'Exceeding Love' or 'Transcending Love'. So what does the title refer to? The bond between Luc and Sera IMO was too insignificant for the opening to be named after that.

And during the opening, messages like 'transcending time' and so on appear. So what does that mean?

Transcending time likely has to do with the destiny that Luc felt he have to rewrite of his own free will. As for the song, I don't think it had any real significant to the game with it's title. Probably just a catchy title the composer liked.

The title and the workds during the opening probably have to do with the main themes in the game... You know, how even though Chris killed Lulu ded, she and Hugo were still OK Happeh friends at the end of the game. And all the other romance/friendship things between the other SODs and stuff...

That's my guess at least.

The title and the workds during the opening probably have to do with the main themes in the game... You know, how even though Chris killed Lulu ded, she and Hugo were still OK Happeh friends at the end of the game. And all the other romance/friendship things between the other SODs and stuff...

That's my guess at least.

I love the opening movie it rocks and i feel that i geddoe is the best.

Perhaps the 'Exceeding Love' theme was projected more to Franz and Iku as well as Luc and Sera?

Why do you say so? Considering the fact that Sera was willing to throw her life away to serve Luc, I'd say that it fits the theme of "Exceeding Love" (her loyalty to Luc) and "Transcending Time" which refers to Luc being the bearer of the True Wind Rune, or at least the fate of all the True Rune Bearers, with them leading immortal lives.

(Pardon me, I'm a Luc/Sera fan. Tis a good pairing that's too much to pass up, in my opinion smile )

Well I considered the relationship between Luc and Sera as insignificant because their relation had so little screentime unless you went through Luc's viewpoint.

i do have to agree with you on Luc and Sarah though.... same with Franz and Iku
