Clyde dropped his tray with a clatter on the empty table. Bonnie was still nowhere to be found, and now he was even stuck eating lunch alone (not including Pandora, who had managed to miraculously squeeze herself into the chair beside him, and was quietly eating her pokefood). He picked at his mac & cheese with a plastic spork and sighed. It wasn't like her at all to disappear without warning. Pandora sensed her master's...less-than-pleased attitude (she knew Clyde would never admit he was worried), but thought twice about patting him on the shoulder, which would probably only warrant an insult about 'mushy behavior'. Instead the charizard sighed as well and continued eating.

The cafeteria was relatively quiet; this was that indefinite time of day between morning and noon sometimes classified as 'brunch' to avoid confusion. Eggs and expatriate French toast were being switched out for macaroni and pizza, which went some of the way toward explaining the contents of Hayes' tray - Jell-O, a slice of Hawaiian pizza, and a bowl of cereal - but didn't completely cover it.
The agent was doing his best to balance the tray with his good arm; the other hung loosely at his side, fingers curled around the cuff of his button-up shirt. A good run through the washer and (after a quick search on Google) a soak in cold water and preliminary detergent scrub had removed visual proof of the cake incident, but the smell of chocolate followed the blond as he moved past Clyde's table, slowing in order to step around and over the Charizard's lengthy tail.
A little white and yellow Pokemon drifting along behind him wasn't so cautious, however. As Alphard passed the pair, a merry smile appeared on his little face and he floated toward Pandora's flame. Hayes caught it in the corner of his vision. "Hey, cut that out," he warned mildly.

Nikki was sitting at a table within the cafeteria too. All by herself. Which was a rather common thing actually. While many Rockets chatted with their peers, the blond girl was usually seen without anyone even approaching her.
As she ate her lunch, the girl peered at the two Eevees who were the only ones sitting with her. Giving their trainer big begging puppy eyes.
"Oh stop it. You don't even know what its like to -really- go hungry." She huffed, completely unfazed at their attempts to get food. They pouted.

Clyde was about to eat a sporkful of his mac-and-cheese when he noticed Pandora's tail twitch and the rest of her sink lower into her seat (a feat he thought impossible). A little yellow and white pokemon floated behind who he assumed was it's trainer. "Man up Pandora, that thing's not gonna hurt you." Clyde said and then continued to eat his lunch. Pandora didn't uncoil herself until the trainer and his pokemon were at their own table. The cafeteria wasn't crowded at all, and it seemed that every Rocket had a whole table to themselves and their pokemon. Clyde noticed this as he popped open his can of soda with a click, and observed the room as he sipped the fizzy drink.

"Hey!" Alphard cried in both protest and greeting, starting to follow the retreating flame, but Hayes' half-laughed "Al, c'mon," brought him drifting back towards his trainer, who moved on.
"Hey, Nikki." Hayes shot his partner a mellow, friendly smile as he passed her but didn't stop to sit, choosing an unoccupied table further down.
Alphard found another way to amuse himself.
"Hayes!" he called, appearing in the air over the blond's head and dropping down.
"Oof. Hi buddy. You're turning that into a cannonball." The agent's tray wobbled slightly, sending a loose bit of pineapple bouncing to the floor near the Eevees, but the Rocket didn't notice.
Alphard shuffled forward and peered over the top of Hayes' glasses. "Can?"
Hayes grinned ruefully and set his tray down. "It kinda hurts."
"Oh." The Jirachi's streamers drooped.

Nikki just eyed her partner ruefully as he passed, not so much as returning his greeting. She just continued to eat.
The Eevees however, were paying attention and both noticed the pineapple drop to the floor.
Both of them suddenly lept at it, and bumped into each other in the scurry to get the piece of fruit. There was a loud snarl as Bira bristled and turned on her teammate. Jumping at the white Eevee.
Fur went flying and the snarls were followed by yelps as Bira attacked Byakko. The two Eevees tumbling around on the floor.
Nikki quickly turned her attention to the pair. "Hey! Knock it off!" she shouted, but went ignored. The girl quickly reached for both of their tails to pull them apart, but Bira turned and bit her hand. A string of curses coming from the girl's mouth as she released Bira, but Byakko quickly retreated into her trainer's arms, whimpering.
Bira's ears flattened as she realized her error, but quickly snatched up the pineapple and darted under another table.

Clyde was munching away at his mac & cheese, not paying any attention to his pokemon or the ones around him. But Pandora was. Being the timid thing she was, the Charizard jumped when the two Eevees started skirmishing over the fallen pineapple. Clyde took note of this and scolded his pokemon to sit still, "Stop that. You're gonna break the chair at this rate." His eyebrow twitched in annoyance. Grumbling he wondered if he was ever going to have an uninterrupted lunch.
