Miles away from the drow cities of UnderGaia, hidden deep behind the stalactite walls stands the silent Illithid city Absterhion.
Like all mind-flayer hives, it is ruled by the Elder Brain. The Elder Brain Absterhion lies in the middle of a lake in the city centre. A web of bridges allows pedestrians to reach it. Absterhion itself is surrounded by mindless slaves, forced to massage the Elder Brain for the rest of their lives.
The city is organized as an ant colony. There is no known currency. And everyone serves the hive.
