As you walk through the halls of the first floor, you come to an opening in the wall. A table sits on a large open breezeway. A man and a woman sit on opposite sides. As you approach, the man stands and acknowledges you. "So you have come to the Arena?" he asked as he points out towards a shadowed an enclosed walkway. A map is placed on the wall, and he directs you towards it. " This arena is a standard arena. It is surrounded by a large wall. We have a changing room, and spectators can watch you from the viewing stands. Please, sign in and wait for your opponent." he said, directing you towards the woman. "By the way, my name is Koba. She is Nayu. Welcome to the Arena, and may you fare well in battle." he said as he sat back down, awaiting the next person.

Amaya walks in through the arena door, she is carrying what seems to be just an umbrella. She smiles and bows to them both, walking up to Nayu, she bows again. "I am Amaya Murakosuke, i am here to fight Makoto. Has she arrived yet?"

Makoto quietly entered the area, bowing her head to what she assumed to be the owners.
"Greetings, my name is Makoto Kofuhara, I had arranged a sparring session between Amaya and myself. I will need a wepon, it will be a none touch battle to make sure neither of us are hurt and take the risk away of blood being spilled."
Makoto thought for a moment which wepon she would like better, she thought it'd be unfair if she used a distance wepon, but it was a good question, what should she use?

Amaya spots her friend and bows to her. "Use whatever you're best at, Makoto-san! I know you'll put up one heck of a fight! See you on the arena!" She smiles and waves as she walks out into the round arena area to warm up some for her fight.

Makoto turned to Amaya and smiled.
"Well perhaps, this time I will use a naginata, I have been practicing with that, well like I had one in the guarden, not sure if I am ready to pick up a sword again."

"Whichever you choose is fine with me, Makoto-san!" Amaya does some warm up excersices with her umbrella and sword, waiting for her friend to start the spar.

((Yeah spear is close enough no exactly what I was thinking of that one that has like a sword blade edge but the sake of arugment we'll say spear))
Makoto let out a sigh while she warmed up frist stretching out her body. She then began to take a few swings of the spear, up and down left and right, spining the spear around her frame.

(Ah! You are thinking of a naginata.)) "Ok, Makoto-san, are you ready?" Amaya smiles and turns to her opponent. shw walks to the mark line int the center of the ring.

Arikku appeared through the openning in the wall.
"I am Arikku Fukashima. I'm here to supervise Makoto-san and Amaya-san." she said and walked toward where they were.
"Hello you two. I'm here to make sure you don't completely murder each other. If I don't Okaa-san will freak." she said and giggled.

Amaya smiles. "Don't worry, Arikku-san, we are taking a few precautions. such as stopping right before a blow is struck, and wooden weopons, just in case!" She dwar the blade from her umbrella handel to show her. "See? Wooden! But scince you are here, Arikku-san, will you be the judge of the battle for us?"

Makoto turned, still shaking a bit.
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be."
She forced a smile, she was honestly a bit nervous, she hadn't even held a wepon since that day her village was attacked, she wasn't sure how well she would do against a sessoned figher.

Amaya nods to makoto and takes a defensive stance. Noticing her nervousness, she walks over to her friend. "Mokoto-san, you look so tense, you will never stand a chace against me like that! try some deep breathing, if we are going to fight, we are going to fight at our best!" She smiles and goes through some tai-chi breathing excesises with her to help her loosen up. "There, feeling loose and ready to go?"

Makoto smiled and nodded taking a few deep breaths.
"Yes, I think I am ready now."
Makoto closed her eyes for a moment before going into a defensive stance, her hand out infront of her, the naginata held out to the side of her readying herself.

Arikku smiled and nodded. "Sure I would love to," she said. She then moved herself farther away for her safety. She then watched the two get ready.
"Good luck you two!" she said and smiled.
