The fact that you put JFAC with those two other bands confuses me... but you might like Elysia-- I think there's a guy in this guild who really knows them/likes them.
What do you like from JFAC? Doom, Genesis or Ruination? Answer that, then I'll have some more recommendations for you.

Yep, you're absolutely right, I've tried to find "Chelsea Grin" on Facebook and accidentally came upon Chelsea Smile, haven't heard from them yet, but I'll be sure to in the future.

VoM = sick!! This is well-known.
Whistheria Cottage-- nice pick! Not very well-known, but very cool.
Catalepsy is a deathcore band. Their albums are "Trust" and "Immolate" or something... pretty good. Not reinventing the wheel, but fun from time to time.
But as for JFAC-- maybe I haven't listened to Ruination enough, but I wouldn't describe it as "slowed down." It's more melo-tech-death compared to Doom which was deathcore... idk...
