Anyone here like taking pictures? And I don't mean just pictures of your friends and pets, but scenery and old buildings. In getting a camera for Christmas I re-discovered how much I adore taking pictures of pretty much anything that catches my eye. So naturally after wandering Gaia for a while, showing some of my pictures, I started wondering if anyone here liked taking pictures as much as I do. I guess I'm looking for people with recommendations of places that I should take a road trip to in order to take pictures. Also it'd be neat to see other people's photos of Washington. Edit: Hey folks, pleasepleaseplease resize your pictures so they are no more than 700 pixels wide, or they will stretch pages. If you want to post the larger image please post a thumbnail, or a link. ^^ I love taking pictures of outside things...like plants and stuff ><;
This one was taken in the summer of last year on some trails behind JDZ, a school in Camas. Its so beautiful back there and quiet.

and lastly another taken on the trails, this was my favorite place to sit and think. I'd climb down the dirt and sit by the water and just stare out at the otherside of the river. always calming^^

NogginDew I LOVE photography, my friend Miles and I went on a walk and I saw some things that would be perfect for shooting. Of course I had my trusty Minolta with me, I keep it in the inside pocket of my jacket. whee Just c ouple of them. NogginDew Those look like the rolling hills around Spokane. Sweet shot. 3nodding I need to go to Spokane some time. I've only been there once in recent memory. And I saw some stuff that I would have loved to take pictures of.

Well... my dad may be dragging me to seattle to take pictures... I sorta don't want to go... but I also do...
It's going into seattle with my dad I don't want to do. The pictures will be nifty, but my dad trying to talk to me will be hell.

Yus, Spokane is a pretty awesome place for photography. There are so many different kinds of settings and sceneries and people, photo-ops are pretty much commonplace. 3nodding
