The Daleks look fine, the worst bit was them replacing the little Dalek ID plate but the best bit is the little fabric bit.

It makes it look a little cuter with that.

I like the new Daleks. They seem reminiscent of the retro Daleks from the old series. ( Doctors 1-8 )
It's just sad that a great Doctor like Matt Smith got stuck with an idiot like Moffat. Perhaps if they wanted to increase revenue, they should tap into the huge American Dr. Who fanbase. It's nearly impossible to find merchandise over here.

Those are the original Daleks.

The first true Daleks.

Have you ever seen that episode! The first Doctor met them and they are good.

They were completely different. [Spoilers ahead]The new daleks have a different eye stalk lens, bigger lights, different style neck rings, bigger gun/arm boxes that come out further, hemisphere panels that bulge out, a wider "skirt" section, are taller and have a "hunch back".

Oh, those ones. Me and my friends came up with a nickname for them, something to do with the multi-colored plasticness...

Go Go Power Daleks.

I thought they would look scarier after seeing the trailer. And they would if they weren't so colorful! Maybe they are like master elder type daleks or something and the otherones won;t be so colorful. Maybe it's so we can tell them apart... or something

Maybe it's so they can tell each other apart?
I would guess that the ordinary soldier daleks would all be the same colour.

The Eternal is supposed to be important but the others are just stupid, big and fat and are as impure and retconing as you can get. they're all s**t but at least this time round, people know that they are feeding their own lies.

My fave part is when you see the new daleks for the first time and relise just how low budget the show has become. Dalek ship? I seen the basment of Tescos.

To be honest, I don't have any problems with the new Daleks, I mean, a bit of change is good, rather than the Daleks just staying the same for ages, then things would just get boring! And besides, does it really matter if they look like pepper-pot power rangers? Even the Cybermen agreed with one of the Daleks when they said they had no concept of elegance (series two finale), so...

I the daleks had changed into the 1960s film versions, that would have been awesome. Claws beat Plungers any day.

To be honest, the whole idea of the daleks coming back is rather boring after seeing it so many times and I would rather they hardly showed up. The fact they show up every other episode weekens the idea that they are the greatest foe of the doctor because they always get destroyed but that isn't to say I don't understand why they braught them back, the new series is designed to bring in a new group and they may have never seen a dalek before.

They changed the daleks? I understand it's not a big problem but the excuse they used was because for those who can remember, the pure form daleks never looked anything like these things. I think they should have used another idea of why they needed to change the daleks instead of SM being a fan of the Cushing movie. We was lucky because SM said he had tried removing the balls and helmet of the dalek at first.

HAHA that's what I thought. When they first appeared my brother was just like WTF and I shouted DALEK RANGERS! sweatdrop
I think in honesty, altho there are plenty of good things about the new series, I think it's a little too cheesy now. Especially the opening theme! God, who did that?! gonk
