I will not do human cosplays (for example, and I know these are taken: Card Captor Sakura, Tuxedo Mask, Legolas, Luna Lovegood) unless you have okayed it with me personally before I made this thread. Feel free to inquire for the future with at least a semi detailed physical description if you want a human cosplay from me at some point. I will most likely reject you unless I feel I can make it look right, though, but asking doesn't hurt.
If you obtained a custom last month (March), you cannot enter for one until May.
If you aren't obvious about which slot you are entering, or if you don't follow the simple directions, it's not my fault if you are not listed or sorted in the wrong category.

My sketch of Gen as a soquili.
A jet black stallion with a long, wild mane/beard and red glowing tribal type markings on his face, down his legs. (*Note! Ignore fire rope markings in references! * ) Not a typical 'human' cosplay, as this cosplay is of his beast form. No clothing or anything, just the leg guards. He has a black unicorn horn and black kalona wings. Only colors on him are the glowing red markings, white growling teeth, steel leg guards, and green wolf eyes. His uni tail is the normal lion type with slightly edited hair to match his mane. Custom will be of two stages only, foal and adult. (No basket needed~)
Character points:
As a youngster, he's extremely emotionally vulnerable... and is quite often a target for teasing. Exceptionally small and frail looking, he'd look like he takes more after his unicorn parent, albeit a sickly version. His kalona wings would usually be kept pinned closely to his side, and as a result are a little atrophied and unusable. Really, he should look rather miserable. Sad face, sad eyes, slight wrinkling of the kalona baby wings could show this state of his life on the foal lineart.
As a young adult, once he's been taken in by Seresai, he'll put on quite a bit of weight and will grow like a weed. She'll teach him how to fly, and how to defend himself. Unfortunately, as his body grows stronger, the wild kalona blood within him will awaken easier, and he'll find himself having blackout moments whenever his temper flares in anger or serious distress. During one of these moments, he'll lash out at Seres, who is like a mother to him, and the guilt he feels will send him fleeing for the hills. She'll eventually bring him back, but the two of them will seek out help from within the Islagiatt herd to get him the training and discipline he needs to keep the beast in check.
As an adult, following his training, he has evolved a rather clear cut view of the world. The most important thing in the world for him is to protect those that mean the most (a lesson passed down from Seres) and he'll quite literally jump through fire to keep his family safe. He'll have few friends, and will have stringent standards for the few he does keep, but usually he prefers to watch from the shadows... a silent and mostly unacknowledged guardian. To outsiders, he is stoic and cold, passing judgment swiftly and efficiently. To enemies, well, he has few of those given his tendency to eliminate threats as soon as they appear. As he knows there will not be a second chance for him if he slips and lets the beast run free, he is equally ruthless towards others. With Gen, there are no second chances.
So his adult form should look super scary and intimidating. xD!
The Design Basics:
- Wings - Kalona # 3 (clean cut feathers)
- Horn - Unicorn (normal placement)
- Adult expression - Same as on Kalona wing sample # 1, maybe add some long-ish canines? )
- Foal expression - Tearful and upset
- Tail - Unicorn lion tail with slightly edited hair to match adult mane. No hair edits as foal.
- Mane - See character references
- Beard/face fringe/hair along back - See character references
- Leg guards - See character references
- Coloring is BLACK. Just like the manga version of the character. His green eyes should be the focal point, along with the red glowing tribal markings.
- Scars in colorist decided places in adult form. Not too many, but enough to show that he went through some tough training as a colt.

Description (eye color/hair color/hair style etc): She is the mother of my soq Dimitri, and will be based on a moonlit night in a forest. If you can't see in the ref pic, there is a full moon on her hindquarters, and tall, pointy, leafless, birch-like trees "growing" up each of her legs. The rest of her body is the color of a night sky with stars, and wisps of fog should reach across her body. DRAWN-on white feathered wings should be on her back as shown, spreading across most of her back.
Now her edits are based off this veeery rough avi of my own creation. That up-do w/ gold tiara. Then the ruff around her neck as pictured on the avi. The crescent moon mask with the same colors and designs as those on the avi. The warp around (also pictured in the soq-ref i drew) should be an off-white with a golf fringe. The flowy/ruffly anklets on back legs are drawn poorly by me, so refer to the avi. The sleeves on the front legs (also drawn and pictured), should have bows at the top and light gold lacing down the fronts, and the bottoms should be ruffly. Lastly feathers intertwined in her tail, which should just be the curly style.
^_^ You have the artistic power to move things around if they don't fit just right, I trust your aesthetic abilities completely and entirely. As long as you stick somewhat to the original design and colors, I am sure it will look wonderful!
