Hello everyone; the judging results for "edition two" of Burn's Neverending TekTek Contest finally are in!
I want to, as always, thank muchly everybody who participated in this contest, or even just watched it. I hope you all enjoyed this round of this contest, & that you'll come back next 'round, where they'll be yet again three brand new challenges!
I want to extend a special thanks to all our judges, first of all, especially the judges I had to find at the last minute. This is NOT an easy contest to judge, not at all. Due to its three part nature & the activity of it I don't think any judge spent less than a half hour on their judging. A list of the wonderful TekTekers who agreed to help judge this contest can be found at the bottom of this post.
I'd also like to, of course, congratulate all our winners! Myself & LadyKayKnoxx [who is, among other things, an Elite Moderator of Burn, an Burn's Resident Expert TekTeker, & a perminent contest judge] both agree -- as I'm sure many others do -- that omgfurubarocks deserves a special congratulations for how totally awesome so many of her TekTeks were; GREAT job, furuba, we're all really impressed! I'd also like to specifically congratulate dommiesgrl, John Reese, ebonyeclair, TheDevilWearsChanel, & my dear friend LadyRubyXD for their wonderful TekTeks this round!
Unfortunately, many of you totally ignored the whole "NO DREAM FREE TEKTEKS" contest rule, so many TekTeks that would have been winners -- especially in the Newbie category -- were disqualified because they were made using Dream Free. Let this be a lesson to you guys to read the damn rules; I promise you reading through the contest thread will only take you five minutes, whereas making & submitting many TekTeks that are against the contest rules is a waste of hours & hours.
Anyway, see you all next round! I'll try & get Edition Three of this contest up & running as soon as possible!
