Shiritori is a Japanese word game, in which one person says a word, and the next has to take the last character and say a word beginning with that character. You keep going as long as you can.
RULES:
1) You may not use the same word more than once.
2) You may not use a word that ends with "ん” or n, as there are no words that START with that letter.
3) All words must be Japanese, any English will not count at all.
4) Please put the romaji as well as the definition, since not all of the members can read/type Japanese, and a game like this is a good learning opportunity.
5) If a word ends with a double sound (きょ(kyo), みゅ(myu)) You can either use the combined sound (kyo) or the last symbol (yo)
If I missed anything, please say so. Please let's try and keep this going, try and post once a week. It helps all of us with vocabulary.
First word: ねこ Neko= (house) cat
