I'm lucky. We have a convention in Maine and one here in Hawaii so I get to go to two local conventions!!! @.@!!

I'm not going to any cons this year. I can't afford to, unfortunately. I do plan on becoming more active in going to cons and cosplaying once I graduate.
I've never been to Kawaii con. If I ever managed to get out to Hawaii, an anime convention would be pretty low on my list of things to see. There's so much nature and volcanoes and beaches and whatnot. I don't think I'd ever get around to the con! lol

I have never cosplayed myself but I would love to just don't know how really, but I do love to check out other cosplayers and their awesome outfits.

Oh, yeah guys. I'm definitely a cosplaying person. xD
Hawaii is.... Yes, it has natural beauty. I've been here for a year already though and it's getting harder to find new spots. You sort of breathe it in every day so it's sort of like a bonus. Actually, Yama and I weren't sure if we were going to be going either. We decided to go just one day, and in a way, I'm glad. It's a lot different than our home con and it makes me miss Portcon a lot. xD Even though people are getting wenchier each and every year... I'll post a few pictures soon, guys! :3

I am so into Cosplaying. I love it! Unfortunately I it's harder to do Cosplay out here in Hawai'i but Maine is really into it and it's always fun to dress up. I Cosplay Sora from Kingdom Hearts II, and recently Teito from 07 Ghost.

You know, I find it interesting how people have different ideas about what is best. For instance, I like someone who's got the whole package. If they're dressed like Ichigo, I want them to act like Ichigo. If they're hanging out with someone from another series I want them to explain how they "met" etc.
And, say I'm cosplaying as Saix from Organizaiton 13 (Kingdom Hearts II). If I see a Maleficent, I'd act the way Saix would towards the cosplayer, whether I'd met the cosplayer or not before. That's "Making Friends" at Portcon, even if your characters are "rivals" and you spend the entire time "arguing" with each other.
Right now, I'm like best friends with a "Roxas" even though I, as Riku, am not supposed to be friends with that Character. As soon as I get to the convention though, I pretend to not acknowledge her existence. We text each other every other day. whee It's a fun but complicated environment.
