Combat Armors are giant humanoid robots controlled by a pilot. These massive mechs can do combat at first only in space but overtime, as research increases, ground combat will also become open, At the moment, only the New Alliance has Combat Armors, but the Empire and the Dawn are not far behind.
There are two basic types of Combat Armors: Mass Produced and Exflows
Just as the name suggest, these types of Combat Armors are produced in large numbers to be used by the common soliders. Though it does take an extensive amouth of training to be able to even fly a basic model, it is made readily able to anyone who wishs to pilot one.
Exflows are an extremely advanced technological feat that even predates the Holy Bloodline Empire from 10,000 years ago before the Great Purge, in which all forms of extremely advanced technology were lost. Powered by a contained eternal flame of pure coreium, there are very few Exflows in exsistence even late into the war. It takes a skill that far exceeds a normal pilot to be able to pilot one, but Exflows are 10x more powerful then their mass produced counterparts through there have been cases when a group of well trained mass-produced pilots were able to take on and defeat an Exflow pilot.
Anyone can learn how to pilot a Combat Armor, one must simply recieve training from one who has mastered the skill. After words one will normally be given a normal mass-produced CA. After proveing one's self in combat however, higher ups might notice one's skill and offer them a custom mass-produced model (which can be apped for in the custom mech area) Only the elite of the elite ever get to pilot an Exflow.
At the moment the only CA's allowed are the basic NA-001's the Crusader model of CA for the New Alliance, as the Dawn and Empire catch up and more advances are made, more CA's will be become open.
