a few years back i posted pictures of my car when i bought it. While i figure i'll post what my car looks like now and all of the things i have done with it.

It's a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville Se
103375 miles, had 82,000 miles when i bought it 3 years ago.

Things that have been fixed or changed:
-Torque Converter Solenoid
-Alternator
-Brake lines
-master cylinder
-Spark Plugs and plug wires
-Driver's side mirror was relpaced
-Driver's side window regulator
-window wiper motor
-A/C condensor
-Bodywork

This is on ongoing project that i had started, finished, and started again. I haven't had time to work on it in my autobody classes, it just needs a little primer filler, some sanding and then it's ready for paint.

This is what the bumper looks like without paint:

-I refinished my bumper because the paint was cracking and i get free paint and supplies in my autobody classes. This was over a year ago.

-Now on to the gas pocket. This is a common issue with Gm cars, especially pontiacs, they put foam insulator underneath the metal around the gas pocket, they soak up moisture and cause rust. I had the paint bubbling and peeling off that area, i decided to sandblast it. Here is what i found.

- I put duraglass and bondo over the area and primed it
User Image

- I decided on putting a metal patch in

Here's what it looked like for a few months. I ended up redoing it again because i didn't contour the body filler well enough and you can tell with the paint.

Wow, the work you've managed to do is impressive. How did you remove the clips from the bumper where it attaches to the front of the fenders?

there's about 15 clips attaching the bumper to the car and two bolts on each side of the bumper cover.Theres about five clips on the top i believe, five on the bottom and three inside each wheel well, just used clip pullers or a flathead screwdriver to remove them, it's the bolts that sucked balls. It took me over four hours to get the bumper back on because the bolt on the right side was rusted and stripped in. I ended up having to drill a screw in. It wasn't fun. I was going to repaint my quarterpanel during the fall semester but classes were cancelled the day i was going to paint it because of snow and it was the second last day of classes. I have to remove the rockerpanel molding and work on the surface rust that is working it's way up the wheel well as well as the surface rust that was starting on the rear door by the quarterpanel, then buy premixed paint and clear and do it myself. the paint code is 408G Gm Medium Red.

That's awesome. I'm just finishing up a security program next month, then I'm taking a two year Automotive Collision & Repair course in September.

A gift from my girlfriend. I had an exide plush car in the back but it got sun faded. You'll find that auto body classes are fun and useful.
