The male had finally found happiness. Or what he could only assume would be considered happy. He had never
been in love before, and he was quite fond of the female he had met recently. She had charmed him, a task, not easy to achieve.
Many females had tried, only to wake up the next morning with him gone and wandering to the next location.
He knew somehow, that this time his promise was for real. He would be her treasure, since she had accepted to be his. He had the
prettiest treasure in the savannah, and that made him happy.

White toed paws seemed to glide across the earth as he walked. He was on his way to the watering hole, having told Melda he would return
quickly. He was sure she was wondering if she could believe him, but when he returned her fears would be extinguished.
The day was hot, like most days, and he was thankful his pelt was not dark or the type to draw in heat. He wasnt quite sure how others could stand
it. Though sometimes, a dark pelt was attractive on the right body.
He scolded himself, and reminded himself that Melda was waiting, and these games were not appropriate.

Giving a small pout, he shook his head. Hopefully, he wouldnt have to make life boring.

The water was cool around her paws, and she pranced in the waters as if she was carefree. Huyana was a happy leopard, though she tended
to keep to herself most times. She loved to be social, and meet others.. but she would soon grow tired of it each time, and retreat to a quiet tree, away from
view.
Today was too hot to stay in her shady tree. The sun warming her black spots, and causing her to sit and pant. So her solution had been the water. It had been a wise
choice.

She noticed the bright green male from a distance, and she stopped moving and splashing, to take in the sight. He was bright, colors
she had rarely seen, except for her friend Melda she had met some time ago.

Chocolate colored eyes gleamed as she lifted her paw in a waving motion.

"Hello!"

He had met leopards before. They were a decent species. At least he had never had any qualms about the idea of being around them before.
When she spotted him, he offered a gentle smile, though it lacked the flirtatious luster he had once had. He was fighting hard, to be the right male for Melda.
He couldnt go around flirting with others, and chatting them up. Friendships were okay though.. He knew that Melda wasnt the jealous type.

"Hello there, miss. Lovely day, isnt it?" He asked, his tail curling around his paws as he walked closer. She was splashing in the water, and he chuckled a little. She was indeed
a playful creature. That was something he could put up with easily. He liked friendly felines, gave him a little pleasure to speak to someone who wasnt bound to attack in the slightest
moment.

"Name's Misri." He responded, walking to the waters she was drinking out of and lowering his muzzle to the waters. Lapping some up quickly, he drank his fill before sitting up
and letting the water droplets drip from his maw.

She smiled, nodding a little in politeness, though she was actually beginning to think she might go to the comforts of her tree. She had met lions before,
and though they werent.. bad.. She still preferred to live the solitary life. She would be friendly though, and talk to him for now, before she made her leave. She made a mental note, and then
responded with a smile.

"My name is Huyana, Misri. Its a pleasure to meet you." She responded with a little bow of her head. He was pleasant enough, and that made her smile.

"It is indeed a beautiful day. Rather warm though, the waters are sure good for that."
She responded, splashing in the water with her large paws again as if to make a point.

She twitched a whisker, and looked back up at him with a curious gaze. Her brown eyes glimmering in the sunshine.

"Are you new around here? Or just seeking out the pleasure of the watering hole?" She asked, interested.

He paused, and nodded at her, he wasnt from around this area, and the watering hole was definitely what drew him here.
"Little bit of both, I guess." He chuckled, and nodded, before lowering his head again to lap at the water once more. He flicked his tail side to side, before yawning.
Once the thirst was quenched, he smiled happily, rolling onto his back and purring.
He didnt want to travel with a belly full of water. But he sure as hell would enjoy teh belly of water, by rolling in the dirt..Strange way to be, he was sure.

"Do you live around here?" He asked, starting up a pleasant conversation. Looking at her from upside down with his amber orbs. He smiled, his toothy grin wide.

"Its really pretty out here." She lived next to an oasis, which was coneveniently close to the savannah grass lands. She sure had picked a good place to call home, if thats
indeed what she called this place.

She nodded exhuberantly, after listening to him speak. He had a handsome tone to his voice, and she was pleasantly enjoying listening to it.
Not that she had any.. attraction to the lion. She really wanted friends, males were something that she really didnt think about that often.
Didnt matter what gender a friend was.. And if anything happened afterwards with a male friend, that was one thing. But she wasnt looking to settle just yet.
She was quite happily keeping herself open and free.

"Oh yes, You could say I do. I live in a tree, up from the ground, its amazingly nice."
She chirped

He nodded, and smiled. Well that was good. He was happy to hear that. She needed a safe home, she looked fragile and all.
Rolling back onto his belly, he pushed off the land with his legs, and stood with a stretch of his claws.

"A tree? Well thats interesting. I prefer caves." He responded with a laugh, though he knew she probably already knew that. Lions didnt climb as well as Leopards, that was a well known fact.

She smiled, and flicked her tail which lacked the fluff of a lions full tail. She didnt mind though, she was still intently happy with how pretty she was. She wasnt stupid after all!

She watched him stand, and began to realize she had better be going. The darkness would be here soon, and she wanted to be safe in her tree by then.

"Well..Its been a Pleasure Misri. I appreciate the idle chit chat. Sometimes its good to meet others."
She giggled, and began leaving the watering hole.

As she was leaving, he called out to her, a good bye of sorts.

"I shall see you again Huyana. As Im sure it shall not be the only time I am at this watering hole!" He called to her, a laugh emiited from his throat.

He liked the girl, even if she had only spoken for a brief period of time. But he took a deep breath, prepared himself, and began his travels once more

She smiled, turning around to look at the male who was wandering off. He was friendly, and he would go far.. She just knew it.

Yawning, she turned back around and began padding towards her tree. She was happy that it was sleep time.. With a full belly, and water having been easy to find, the female was ready to end her day.
