the french open started in paris on sunday!!!!!!!!!! soderling advanced after beating a wild card french. and tsonga advanced after beating a young german.

Perhaps somehow making a sort of fantasy tennis like they do with baseball and football? I can't say how we'd set it up, but doing something similar where we pick players and earn points etc.

ohmygosh. im so shocked. stosur defeated s.williams!!!! i wish i had seen! williams was out of rhythm from the second half of the 1st set and on. im happy for stosur she's really awesome with her hammer of a forehand. she faces jankovic next. dun dun DUN......

Serena losing isn't a shock, but I guess Stosur being the one to do it is a bit of one. I figured she'd lose once she ran into either Jankovic or Dementieva in the later rounds. It is nice to see Stosur advance, though. We're guaranteed a 1st time champ on the women's side, which is exciting in my mind.
So who do you think advances from here?
Oh, and if you're able to, espn3.com has replays of those matches to watch. I just watched the end of that Stosur, Williams match. I fell asleep beginning of the 3rd set, so had to see the end xD Great shot making on Stosur's part in the crucial points at the end..
