Artemis stopped at the edge of a clearing. "Here we are, Yue." she told Yue. She said it loud enough for her brothers to hear; or brother, since Demeter was probably sleeping, as usual. Oh, goodness, I really hope Apollo doesn't flirt with Yue. If he does, he can go hunt his own supper. Without my help. In fact, he can hunt his own supper and have a vexed sister to deal with.

Yue padded into the clearing after Artemis, "Great!" She replied excitedly. As she looked around the clearing she spotted two males. It appeared that Artemis hunted for all three of them. Wow, that must be alot of work.. She thought, it was hard enough just to hunt for herself.

Apollo forced his head up to look at his approaching sister and another female. He smiled to himself, stood up, and shook the laziness from his body. Apollo was sad to leave his rock. It was where he always loved to just curl up and bathe in the sun. He walked toward the two wulfine, and ignoring his sister, looked straight at the silver female. She reminded him of the moon. "Hey, what's your name?" He asked in his flirty voice. He moved closer to her, so close that his warm fur brushed her cool silver pelt.

Yue smiled inwardly as the male wulfines pelt brushed hers. She glanced at Artemis for a moment, just to see how she would react to her brother flirting with someone both her and Apollo had just, then looked at the wulfine in front of her, "Yue." She replied, "Whats yours?"

"Apollo," he said, still talking in his flirty voice. He pulled his gaze from Yue's bright blue eyes and turned his head and stared into the distance behind Artemis. He couldn't look her in the eyes, fearful that she was angry and giving him her "Death Stare", as he liked to call it. Artemis did not like it when she caught Apollo flirting with her friends, but he just couldn't help it. It wasn't his fault Yue was attractive. So if Artemis got mad she should get mad at Yue, for being attractive. Not get angry with Apollo, and make him starve because she wouldn't hunt for him as a punishment. Last time he ticked her off he went three days without food. It wasn't his fault he sucked at hunting.
"Um, Artemis? Did you get any food?" Apollo's voice sounded completely different from his flirty voice. It was like someone else was talking entirely. His eyes were filled worry and fear. Artemis got scary when was got mad.

Artemis glared at Apollo, letting all her icy anger show in her eyes, but making the rest of her face look indifferent. She hated it when Apollo flirted. She mouthed out 'You can hunt for yourself for the next two days.' But to her frustration, Apollo was deliberately looking away. Artemis cursed under her breath. She had just realized that Yue would probably share her kill with Apollo. "Apollo, may I speak with you privately?" Her voice was frosty, and although she frayised it as a question, it was an order. She began pushing him away from Yue, saying, "I knew you'd be avaible."

Yue sat down in the mossy grass. She let the sun warm her fur as she closed her eyes. Amusement was only one of the many things that ran through her mind. She sighed and glanced at Apollo and Artemis, before drifting off into a light sleep. Being a loner meant she was always hunting, or moving to another place. Sleep was always wlecomed by Yue...

Apollo sadly walked with Artemis as she pushed him away from Yue. She was going to murder him! He glanced up at her eyes and shivered. Yup, that confirmed his theory that he was doomed. She was giving him the death stare. It sounds very pathetic that the older brother in the family was scared to death of the younger sister, but that was the reality in this case. Apollo allowed his eyes to wander to Yue, whom was slowly drifting to sleep. She seemed a little distracted, and Apollo desperately wanted to know all the things that raced through her mind. Scared that Artemis would catch him staring at the silver wulfin, he forced his gaze down at his paws and kept walking alongside his sister until the sleeping Yue was out of sight.

Artemis stopped her brother as soon as she was out of Yue's earshot. Apollo was looking at Artemis's death stare, and Artemis let only her anger show. In reality, she was peiceing together a solution. For years, whenever Artemis caught Apollo flirting with the few friends she had, she simply didn't hunt for him. However, this system obviously wasn't working. "Apollo, I have been thinking about your bad habit of flirting. My old system obviously isn't working. So, I have decided a comprimise of a sort is neccasary. You are to pick one wulfine to be the center of your attention. If they decide they dislike you, then you are to speak with me to let me know you are moving on. If I catch you flirting with another, then you will hunt for yourself for a week."

Apollo liked this idea. He could flirt with any wulfin he wanted and Artemis couldn't do anything about it. A wide smile crossed his face and then, only seconds later it faltered. HE COULD ONLY FLIRT WITH ONE GIRL! How was he going to choose which one? There were just too many girls in the world to only select one to flirt with for all eternity. I'm going to starve to death. Apollo just didn't like to flirt, he kind of in a way had to. One time, he had made a bet with his sister that he could go a full week without flirting. He failed because he had accidentally flirted.
Apollo sighed. He was pretty sure Artemis wanted him starve to death. "But, Artemis. What if I accidentally flirt with another wulfin? Then it's not really my fault..."

Yue opened one eye just as Artemis and Apollo padded away to talk. She crept up behind them and crouched down behind a bush to listen to there conversation. As Artemis came up with this new punishment for Apollo, she tried hard to keep from laughing. But then, at Apollo's response, the humor went away. She sighed and crept back toward where the wulfines had left her. A twig snapped under her paw and she winced, hoping they hadnt heard her. Curling back up under the sun, she fell asleep, for real this time.

Artemis knew Yue was there, but didn't comment. It was, after all, her buisness too. Yue should know that Apollo would only be able to flirt with her if he was prepared to stick to her for life. Not to mention that Artemis was prepared to get after Yue, too, if Apollo was dedicated to her and she flirted with someone else. Artemis turned her attention back to Apollo. "Then you should hope I don't hear of it."

Apollo turned, and began to walk back to wear Yue was sleeping. If I'm going to have a serious relationship, I better learn how to hunt. I don't want to look like a fool in front of someone I'm trying to impress. He turned his head back to Artemis, "I guess I choose Yue." Now I just have to get her to like me... Apollo stopped in front of the female wulfin, her silver fur glowing in the setting sunlight. He got back in flirty mode and nuzzled Yue's neck, trying to wake her up. "Hey, do you want to hunt?" He asked, hoping he had woke her up.

]Yue opened her eyes and looked up at Apollo, "Sure!" She said, standing up and stretching. As she thought for a moment, she shook leaves from her silver fur. She frowned, "But where?" This was new territory, and she had no idea where it would be best to hunt. She glanced at Artemis and then back at Apollo, wondering if he really liked her. There was sure to be time to find out, she thought happily.
