Well scene this is an open forum (currently the Hangout forum, I was considering changes).I thought I would bring up a cross series topic that might be fun to debate on.

I'm shore if you ever played the .hack series you would know of the 8 phases. I have all 8 listed below in order.

Skeith:"The Terror of Death"
Innis:"The Mirage of Deceit"
Magus:"The Propagation"
Fidchell:"The Prophet"
Gorre:"The Machinator"
Macha:"The Temptress"
Tarvos:"The Avenger"
Corbenik:"The Rebirth"

In .hack// GU 8 main players in the game each take control of a phase. Each character contains characteristics that each phase represents.

Anyway, I got to thinking about the character Sakubo and Gorre the Machinator. I thought about the mirrored relationship between Sakubo's two players Saku and Bo. I started thinking about how similes the kagamine twins where to this concept. I realized that if the vocaloids could each claim a phase Len and Rin would be the prime and best choice for Gorre.

Heck, Len and Rin even plot things together in some videos. Sometimes I tend to think of Gorre as a schemer. I got this idea in my head the first time I fought Gorre in the original games as Kite. The Gorre heads would wiper to each other during points of the battle just before launching a devastating attack. Almost as though they where plotting agents you. I cant help but think the kagamine twins play pranks in the same fashion except they usually do it with a road-roller. (Rin says to Len-"Lets hit that old guy as he never gives us snacks, I'm shore he is also worth some points". Len drives over the old guy and flattens him) lolz

Well, I thought it might be interesting to see what phases people would match with what vocaloid. It might be fun.

I agree with some of your points, Miku's leeks do look a lot like the scythe and cross Sketh uses and I do have a convincing picture I'm posting right below here that I found online some time ago below.

However, putting her appearance aside, I don't really see Miku as the "Terror of Death" that much.

Both Sora and Hasaeo who controlled Skeith where renowned PKers. I think Miku is to kind to do that kind of thing. I personally feel that Miku brings more life into most of her songs then the Terror or Death. Of coruse there are always exceptions to the rule such as the song you gave as an example.

I think that perhaps Miku Zatsune would fit the bill for Skeith a little better then Miku Hatsune as she is considerd to be Miku Hatsune's Dark half and she still contains the look.

Personally, I have thought a lot about Miku before posting this as she is the most famous vocaloid. I had a really hard time placing her but I thinght that if it was brought up that I would suggest Corbanik "the Rebirth" for Miku. Miku did breath new life into vocaloid as Vocaloid was just an obscure voice program before Miku made it popular, so you could say Miku brought Rebirth to vocaloid.

I also see Miku as the natural leader for vocaloid due to her fame. Much like Ovan was the leader and symbol of the Twilgiht brigade. The main difference I see between Miku and Ovan is that Miku is more open with her personality then Ovan was. However, I doubt that how withdrawn a person is has verry little to do with the idea of the rebirth as much as there ability to draw people to them and bring life into there group.

Of course it all a matter of opinion. I would still not disagree with a person saying Miku would make a good skeith biased on her appearance, not at all.

Anyway, what I was saying is that Im not as suprised you don't know much about Miku Zatsune. I posted a link to give you more info on her as she is one of the many fan made vocaloids.

Also, as far as Kiato as the terror of death. I would also say that I don't think so either. I kind of think Kiato gets beat up a lot so I could easily see him being a victim of a PKer like Sora rather then the one dealing the terror of death. I think Skeith would reject him as it's user. I have not thought of Kiato as much so I guess I will leave that as a not shore for now.

That is a good point.

The personality and actions of a vocaloid do depend on the author of the videos you watch. Haku for example was originally described as a depressed drunk but over time her personality lightened because people wanted her to smile more. I also think her friendship with the other vocaloids being there for her can also help explain how this can happen.

Haku cars about people so much and she gets so torn apart by losing them. Her drinking habit comes from the fact that she can't take the stress of this loss. She is really a person controlled by love in both good and bad ways.

I think that to get things back on track, there is a phase that represents love. Macha the Temptress. I think that Haku would be a prime candidate for Macha.

That true. Miku is really nice until you start messing with her music. (she loves her music). She will go ballistic if you do that. However, Innis is "The Mirage of Deceit". I guess this would mean an Illusion of Deception. Atoli is a very nice but easily deceived (fooled). Look at how Sakaki and how he used Atoli. I think the word that best describes Innis is gullible. I don't know if Miku can be played the fool like that, but I do agree that she shares a lot of other kind traits with Atoli.

Tarvos:"The Avenger" For Neru seems a great fit. The avenger is generally argent and wants there way. The Avenger will avenge anything even if its minor. Such as a grudge agents a certain singer duo to there fame (profile trolling anyone). This is why I think Pi had such a upset attitude all the time. It's a drive to get back at anything and everything.

Yah, on Skeith it seems where all torn about him. Skeith is the first phase and belonged to Haseo (main charicter of GU). Not to mention skeith was shown in the last televised episode of .hack//sign. Plus Skeith unknowingly belonged to Sora in from .hack//sign but was never used by him as he never discovered that power before he quit the world. For all these reasons Skeith is the most famous of the phases. For that reason we all want to place skeith. I think the big question in placing this Phase is

Which vocaloid could best be considered bringing you the Terror of Death or would go out of there way to harm others.

Megus might fit Kaito. Magus:"The Propagation" is a phase i'm less shore of as I was inshore what Propagation means. So I just googled it. This is what I got on wikapediA



I guess from this I think it means reproductive. (makes sence I guess as Megus planed annoying exploding leaves in .hack//mutation). This also seems to fit the description of Koons horn ball mentality with the ladys. I guess that this would be a good fit as Kiato is kind pf a perv. You could say the same with Len and his panty raiding adventures (which I remember Kiato helping with once or twice). I think its more of Kiatos influence over Len then Len himself though as he is younger. I still feel len is better suited for Gorre anyway.
