Foust-N-Hugs

PostPosted: Tue Apr 13, 2010 2:05 pm

Walking onto the plains of an almost open field, Foust looked around to see if he was late. Since there was no one there, he figured he wasn't. Walking in the open land, Foust startd to talk to himself,"Hm, this will be interes," before he could finish his sentence, he found him self falling forward. He had tripped over a small bundle of grass, and just showd how he doesn' pay attention much.

Tumbling over on to the ground, he stretched out his legs to just lay down. The sun was high, and the wind was blowing from time to time. This seemed like a great sparing spot for Foust, but he was waiting for his partner to arrive. Then, things could get fun. "Sheesh, waiting sucks." Foust said, while letting out a sigh. JUmping up to his feet, he realized the sun wasn't going to let him relax. Since it's bright light kept in his eyes, Foust started to jogg over to a nearby tree. When near, he slipped on some gushy sand, and saw the tree coming closer to him. Bamb, he hit the tree head first, making him dazed. As his head spun, h said," Trees are more lethal than I thought." Now he just sat against the tree, hoping his partner would arrive before some accident would happed again.

Woken from his sleep Kuma looked down, he had been resting in some tree branches, he had expected to find his opponent and team mate Foust earlier but had gotten carried away with his nap and been asleep for quite a while. Seeing Foust sitting at the bottom of the tree Kuma could only imagine what woke him, knowing Foust it was bound too be some kind of accident involving his face and the tree. Keeping his laughtter within it simply turned into a smirk. He took a long swig of whiskey and pushed himself off the branch, landing with bent knees beside Foust Kuma straightened his back and stretched slightly.

"Hey there, you ready?" Kuma asked with a smile before he opened his bottle again and took another swig, he loved drinking whiskey straight but most despised this, trying to mix it to make it less harsh, but maybe that was what drew Kuma in, the harsh taste. Moving his hand towards Foust he shook it slightly in a way that showed he was offering Foust a drink. "It's good to see you friend, and I must say you picked a great day to spar, just look at this weather" he smiled as he tipped his hat down.

Foust-N-Hugs

Still rubbing his head from his face plant to the tree, Foust noticed the tree was rather tall. He had glanced up, and saw endless branches in the tree. Suddenly, he heard something drop down to the ground. It was Kuma, and when Foust turned to see him he was rather freaked out. Jumping up and backwards, Foust hit the back of his head on a lower tree branch. "Ah, what the..." He couldn't continue his sentence, because he hit the tree. Falling to the ground wasn't his intentions, but it happened anyway.

Pushing himself up into, he sat criss crossed rubbing his head while rocking. "Why me?" After a few seconds of rubbing his head, he got to his feet. There was no doubt he was dealing with a headache. Then, Kuma offered a drink, but Foust shook his hands in a manner to say no. "That won't help me, and it's not my kind of drink. You are right though, it is a great day to spar. Well you make the first move, buddy." Letting the opponent make the first move was an act of respect. Foust was always like this when fighting, but he noticed it was more like instinct. He never thought about it, it just happened. Waiting for his friend to make his move, Foust stood loosened up, and no fighting stance. He wanted to surprise his buddy.

Kuma always felt sorry for his klumsy friend and the ammount of headaches he must have. Smiling to his responce of the drink he nodded his head and as soon as he let the words slip 'make the first move' Kuma had twisted his body, letting go of the bottle with his right hand, he pushed his right fist forward in a thrusting motion, lowering his body to strike Foust in his stomach region, the punch had some power in it but was not going for a one hit wonder. Crossing his left arm infront of himself and keeping it close to his body hhe reached for the falling bottle, grabbing it he rotated his body pulling his right hand around to lead a back hand flying towards the face of Foust as he stood up to full height again. By this time the bottle had been place back to its spot within his clothes. He then swiftly moved his left to another forward thrust at the body, all this had been done in one fast and smooth motion, just to see if Foust really was ready.

Kuma agreed with the idea of letting the opponent go first and he followed many codes of honor within his fights, which sometimes hindered him, such as not attacking when the opponent is on the ground. However he was always willing to have a fun match to test the rules he made himself. Knowing that Foust had fighting experience with Taekwondo gave Kuma a level of excitement, as he was in the process of finding a suitable Eskrima master to teach him.

Foust-N-Hugs

Foust was sort of shocked to see Kuma drop his drink. He thought the dude loved his drinks, so it was weird to see. The right thrust on the other hand, wasn't. To avoid the attack, Foust stepped to the right, and watched the attack miss while catching the drink. This impressed Foust, but catching a drink wasn't going to get you anywhere. This squad was hand to hand, so Foust was curious to see what else Kuma had in store for him.

Kuma rotated into a back hand from the missed thrust. This was easy to deal with. Foust stepped forward with his right foot, a few feet from the middle of Kuma's feet. Then, he stopped Kuma's attack short, by grabbing the wrist of the attacking hand, which was his right, with Foust's own right hand. Before Kuma could pul off another attack, Foust made his attack. He was still holding his opponents wrist, so he cluthed it harder to make it difficult to get away. He pulled Kuma towards him, pulling him off balance. Next, he brought his left knee up, and then extended the end of his leg outwards to Kuma right side. This was one of Foust's more common side kicks, that he liked to use for there easy performances. This kick was full of speed, and packed a great bit of power to go with it. He just had to conect with Kuma's side, which seemed to happen since they were so close. Plus, Foust pulled Kuma off balance, and brought him closer to him for the attack.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 15, 2010 3:14 am

Feeling his wrist being capture he almost instantly leapt up into the air, flipping his body to the right, over the top of Foust's grip, this twisting motion caused the grip to break free or damage Foust's arm if he kept hold. The pull that Foust had given actually helped Kuma to move through the air, landing he bent his knees to lower his body. Foust had swung his leg for a kick and since Kuma had literally just landed he moved for a counter, striking his knee up into the underside of Foust's leg as he drew his knee back and sent it forward again, this time into Fousts side, if the first landed it would have knocked Foust more off balance and made him fall backwards, however this would cause the second attack to miss, but if the first was dodged the second had a better chance of hitting and dealing alot of damage to Foust's body.

Kuma smiled, it had only just began but he was interested in how the fight would continue. At this rate it would be a free for all. He knew Foust had some skill and Kuma loved to fight when he had a chance of loosing, otherwise it would be like a bully, fighting people who cannot protect themselves.

Foust-N-Hugs

With Kuma doing his flip, Foust let go of his wrist, and jumped forward. Once he jumped, he leaned in more into a roll. After he rolled, he got up, and turned to Kuma smiling. It would have been close if Foust stayed, but he knew when people were behind him, they were usually going for an attack from behind.

Sling still, Foust relaxed his feet, and got into a stance. His left foot was infront of the right while facing Kuma, his right was slanted pointing to the right, and his hands were at belt level. Foust moved closer to Kuma, but basically stayed in his stance. Then, he brought his right knee upward, extended it out, and tried to kick at Kuma. Before it got close, he pulled it back down to the ground in front of his left foot. Now he leaned back as he brought his knee in towards his chest while he turned his upper body. Using his leg strength, Foust thrusted his foot out at Kuma's mid section. Since he turned his body, and brought his foot to him more before kicking, it made his kick faster.

This was happening in one quick moment. As he launched his foot at Kuma's stomach, he though," I wonder if Kuma is intoxicated. Haha."

Watching as Foust moved he decided not to act until he was sure of what was to happen, he watched Foust moving as he faked a kick, this was somewhat predictable as no one would repeat an attack. When he moved in for the second attack Kuma pushed the knee to one side with the back of his hand as he threw his other fist forward, aiming for the head. He leapt slightly with the attack as he rotated his body bringing an uppercut to the mid section of Foust. Kuma wanted to keep his attacks light and fairly easy, although they had some power in them he was no where near giving it his all, just as he knew Foust wasn't. He even considered having another drink whilst fighting but thought it would be best if he waited until there was some distance between the two.

The soothing taste of alcohol, the harsh fix of whiskey, he longed for it even now, as he was fixed in battle. However Kuma seemed to fight smoother after drinking, with more unpredictable moves throwing his opponent off, but now wasn't the time, not yet anyway. Kuma smiled to himself.

Foust-N-Hugs

After Foust's knee was pushed away, he brought it down quickly. As he did so, his opponent was throwing a punch. Leaping into it though, wasn't such a good idea. Foust was plannng on missing th whole time. He was curious to see Kuma's reaction. An uppercut was surprising to see, only because Foust never saw anyone use it before.

With a chuckle, Foust placed his left hand in the way of the upcoming fist. Upon impact to his hand, Foust pushed down so it wouldn't force his hand back. There was a thud from the colision, and Foust felt some force coming onto his hand. Right after the uppercut land against his hand, Foust tightened his grip around Kuma's fist. Then, while Kuma was somewhat still in the air, Foust placed his right hand under Kuma's upper arm. Stepping forward with his right foot, Foust turned his body. He then, pushed his back against Kuma's midsection, and pulled his arm over his shoulder with much strength as he bent over. This would cause Kuma to lose balance, and then be forced over Foust's shoulder. Some would call this a judo throw, but Foust always considered it an easy throw most people learned in wrestling.

Although his opponent made a great attempt with an uppercut, Foust was curious to know what kind of fighting style he was trying to use. Then again, Foust wasn't familiar with all fighting styles. Deep down, Foust started to feel he should start to get more into the fight. Yeah, he could do more fancy moves, but that wasn'talways fun for him. He would rather play around with his sparring partners, than just end the match quickly.

((Excuse my inactivity for the past few days. Things have happened that made me in a crapy mood, so I chose no to post. If I did, I don't think it would have been a good post. I am better now, so I will post more. Sorry.))

((Since this is before Kuma had his eskrima training I want him to still be a little random with hhis moves, as theoretically he hasnt got a fighting style - he will do some crazy stuff before he completes his training razz ))

Kuma noticed what foust was attempting to do and as he rotated to push his back against Kuma, Kuma wrapped his legs around Foust's waist area, gripping him tightly so he could not be thrown, then with his free hand pushed it into Fousts spine, applying pressure to not only injure Foust's back but to also release himself from the grip on his arm. He used his knuckles from the first row up on his fingers rather than an open palm to push on Fousts spine, making the pressure more accurate, his hand in a claw like shape. Pulling back with one side of his body naturally applied even more to the other side, this would be at the very least annoying and a growing pain, at the most, if hit in the wrong place, could cause permanent damage, this isn't what Kuma was aiming for though, afterall they were friends.

Kuma couldn't help to laugh to himself, realising how crazy he must have looked, it was almost expected to have the next attack be a bite or something. However, at the end of the day this was good, afterall you never know what fighting style a hollow may have, they are actually more likely to fight like this in all honesty.

Foust-N-Hugs

PostPosted: Sat Apr 24, 2010 5:47 pm

Attempting the Judo flip, Foust felt Kuma moving his legs while about to be thrown. Before Foust knew it, Kuma had wrapped his legs around his waist. Now, anyone would be ab;e to guess the next move. Submission or an attack would most likely come. Foust wasn't about to let either happen without causing some pain to Kuma. As Kuma prepared to use his free hand to hit Foust, he probably didn't expect his opponent's clumsiness to interfere. Foust was about to make his move, but he slipped backwards from stepping on some loose, wet dirt that made his foot slide forward. The weight from Kuma also helped to make him slip too. This wasn't as planned, so Foust didn't see it coming. He did however, plan to use it towards his advantage.

As they fell backwards, Kuma's attack landed, and Foust could feel the pain in his spine. Foust wasn't going to let that be it though. before they could hit the ground, Foust had let go of Kuma's arm, and grabbed his legs instead. As he did so, he pushed his back into Kuma so that the impact to the ground would be harder. If he hit the ground while his arm was still at Foust's spine, then he would end up breaking that arm. The momentum from the fall, plus Foust pushing his back to Kuma with much force, along with his arm still on Foust's spine would cause the bones to dislocate, mess up, or possibly break. It all depended on how Kuma reacted as he hit the ground.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 25, 2010 10:15 am

Kuma noticed the shift as Foust began to fall, as his arm was released he moved his second hand, realising the position he was in he was happy to have landed the strike, he slid it across and under Foust's arm, this was a simple and easy manouver he could do that just happened to be the best option as it would force him to free the grip from his legs, feeling the weight push into him as he hit the ground he gritted his teeth and let out a slight gasp of air. He then used his hands position to his advantage, leaving his arm under Fouust he then gripped the hand of the arm with his and pulled it together into a chicken wing position, with his other he grip thhe now pormonent elbow and pulled it across behind his head with his other hand to bend it behind his neck, this would put serious strain upon both his arm and neck causing largge ammounts of damage.

Kuma kept Foust down on the ground as he held on with his legs, pulling down with his body weight to stop any sort of roll or getting to his feet without a hell of a struggle, damaging the restrained arm even more.

Foust-N-Hugs

After both shingami hit the ground, they made the same noise in pain. It was only a little pain for Kuma, but for Foust, things were different. Kuma didn't have someone on his back, trying to do wrestling moves on him. Tangled in the submission move, it was no surprise the dark haired fighter felt more pain coming on. To get out, he would have to think on his feet, or, in his case, on his back.

A spiritual pressure developing from the Ninth Seat began to raise. Since, Foust was only a Ninth Seat, the raise in his spiritual pressure wasn't enough to emoblize Kuma. It could only force Kuma to loosen his grip to allow Foust some time to get out of his predicament. As force begun to weigh down on Kuma as if the gravity around him was increasing, he used his free hand to pry the left foot off of him. Pulling against Kuma as he continued t pull the seated member's arm, he pulled it in the other direction. This was only possible with the help of his Ninth seat spiritual energy. His arm was struggling, as he pulled it in the opposite direction Kuma was. It was finally loose enough to feel no less pain, and he was then capable of rolling out of the hold.

Doing a log like roll, he spun his body while removing his arm from Kuma's leg after trying to pry the leg off him. He rolled too much, and ended up rolling off of Kuma getting out of the submission. Rising into a stand, he thought of walking off the pain and dizziness, unfortunately, it didn't work for. He just waddled around like a drunk guy.
"Why is everything spinning round and round?"
PostPosted: Thu Apr 29, 2010 3:29 am

Before Foust had time to recover Kuma leapt to his feet and sent an array of punches to Foust's head, five quick jabs whilst moving just to keep Foust confused and even more dizzy. He then ducked and piveted in the opposite direction before following with a backhand, this was in order to further confuse and take even more advantage of Foust. Kuma was shocked that he needed to use his reiatsu to break from the hold but realised if he needed to do something like this he mus have been in a great deal of pain. Kuma sent a powerful kick into the arm of Foust that had previously been damaged and then shifted his weight to again move around him, stopping at his back with a hook punch to his kidney area.

Kuma had been moving with speed more than power and although each hit would leave damage it was more about the overall strikes to mess with Foust's head and damage his arm. Kuma was playing with strategy for now, even though it was a spar Kuma wanted his allies to know he had some form of skill and was a good ally to have around.

Foust-N-Hugs

PostPosted: Thu Apr 29, 2010 4:54 am

When the alcohol loving warrior got up and charged at Foust, he saw more than one. From the eyes of a dizzy man, there approximately four to six Kumas moving around. At first it seemed like they were real as a normal shinigami, but that was just due to the dizziness.
"Hey, now that's not fair, there more than one of y..." He was cut short when his sparring partner got way too close to him. His attack was rather lame, since it was just a jab. As one of the Kuma's would move, they all would. Now it was understandable that there were more of the same person.

The fists were coming in fast in a jabing motion, but luckily, it was an easy attack to dodge whether you were seeing straight or double. When the first jab came close to the seated members face, he tilted his upper body to the right, dodging the blow. As quick as the first one, another jab came, and it was aimed for the head too. Seeing four fists, from being dizzy, he spun around them all with a complete three-sixty. Facing the enemy, he noticed something was different, there were only two illusions. More jabs came in, so barely tilting his head side to side to ddge them wasn't so hard anymore. One more was coming as a back hand, and it seemed like it was going to land. With a smile and ducking under the attack and moving to Kuma's side, he managed to get away without a hit landing.

Still moving like a drunk, it seemed like he was under the influence of the dizziness. Kuma, then came at Foust with an attack similiar to what he does, a kick. Smiling widely enough and showing his sharp teeth, he stepped forward with his left foot, held out his left hand to block the kick, and lifted his right foot up as he shifted weight to his left side. There was barely any power in Kuma's kick and, once it connected with Foust's hand, he tightly clutched it. While holding his foot still, he lauched a more powerful side kick with his right foot that was lifted. Upon kicking, Foust turned the foot he held in his left hand to make Kuma feel a tiny bit o, while being distracted.
