Tireu wasn't all that happy in loseing the beautiful claw but was happy that now he had a son that liked some of the same things he did like how Arlen wanted all the information about the rock that were around the house. But today he has an earge to go back to the store that he had gotten Arlen and thought it was nuts for him to go back but then he thought that Arlen comming from an item from that shop just might have been a fluke and Tireu wondered to what else that might be of interest.
Not taking him too long to get to the Curio shop as he did have mixed feeling about comming back but still thought he could find something interesting here. So walking into the shop and stopping just inside of the door as he looked around thinking to were he was going to start looking.

Switch was in the shop this time instead of Kay, lounging on a rather comfortable looking chair behind her giant oak desk, flipping lazily through a magazine. It was just one of those gossip magazines, the kind you read when you were bored but never put too much thought or work into it. It was just something to pass the time, and since the shop was winding down for the day, it was something she had a lot of.
She straightened a bit when the door opened, looking over her shoulder at the new comer. Oh, someone she hadn't seen before!
"Welcome to Balcombe, if there is anything I can do to help, just ask!" She said sweetly, setting her magazine down for while he was there.

He was a little thrown off to find that it wasn't Kay today he did remember that it was Kay's mothers shop and he thought that this might be her. His tail swished slowly behind him and makeing sure not to hit anything with it.
"I will," he replied and gave her a smile. "But first I think that I will have a look around," he said as he started to walk around looking at all the different things around and noted to himself that there were more different trinkets around from the last time he was here.

"I'll be right here if you need me. My name is Switch, by the way." Just to make it easier to call out to her. A name was much more powerful than just 'Hey You, Lady'. Since he was only looking around, Switch felt it safe to go back to her magazine...though she certainly did keep an ear out for his call.

Tireu still had to wonder if any item he did walk out with would turn into a child as he didn't know if he could handle another kid as Arlen was a handful on his own but he just thought that he would just look and not worry about it.
By his nature he wasn't really a talkative creature. "So Switch what led you to open up the Balcombe?" he asked as he did wonder as shops in general were still so very new to him as he still hunted for his meals unless it wasn't something that he could catch. Also something caught his eyes as he turned to look towards Switch and started to walk towards what ever it might be.

"Hm?" Switch pondered over his question, though it did not take long at all. "Actually...I'm not a Balcombe, I didn't open this place...it's been around for a very long time though." She mused, closing her magazine and leaning forward, her elbows on the desk. "The previous owner, Marilyn, left the shop to me. Just up and disappeared...I have no idea where she went. She just...seemed to vanish into thin air." She made a motion with her hand that suggested they disappeared into a puff of smoke, and with a sigh leaned forward to rest her chin against the desk's surface.
Switch noticed the way he seemed to be attracted to something, and just hoped it was something shiny.

Tireu listened intently to what Switch had to say as it was intersting. "Sorry about that. Everything here in this town is still new to me. As I came from a village that was nessled into a volcano crater. So everything is new," he said as got to the place that he had seen the shiny thing.
He very much liked shiny things as it was his dragon instincts for his hourd. So he carefully moved some of the other objects that were on top of the shiny. Once the other object were moved over, Tireu spoted it was a little dusty Inari beads, but he was a little hesident to touch it.

"Oh, it's perfectly alright! Ask as many questions as you need, I'd be more than happy to help." There was a slight pause when she realized the rest of his words. "...A volcano crater? Seriously? Whoa...no wonder this is new!" She couldn't imagine living in a crater, never mind a volcanic one! She was stunned with awe, unable to think of whatelse to say to that.
The beads, while staying perfectly still, seemed to call out to poor Tireu. They wanted him to touch them, they wanted him to take them home. Do it, do it, do it!

Tireu smiled at the reaction of were he lived. "Yes seriously. This isn't my true form," he said as he motioned to his self. "I'm part fire dragon so dealing with the heat is nothing its the water I don't like," he said as he hated when it rained but then he hadn't figured it out he could have an umbrella to keep himself dry. "So why don't other people buy there food instead of hunting it?" he asked as he did wonder that as lifeless meat was just yuck.
Those beads were so very shiny and beautiful. But it still nagged him to what had happened to Arlen. But his greed finally won over and he picked up the beads as he did so he could feel them get warmer but he just brushed that feeling to the side as he was part fire dragon. Blowing the dust off of them and saw that they were very shiny and beautiful and not wating to put them back down.

"Huh. That's...neat." She said conversationally, though she was still surprised. There were all manners of creatures here on Gaia, but on occasion they still threw her for a loop. She was only human, after all. "Convenience, I suppose...I couldn't imagine hunting it." The blue haired woman made a face, the thought of killing her own food...actually disgusted her.
Switch felt the connection when the beads latched onto the man, creating a bond with him without his consent or knowledge. The young woman pretended not to see what he was holding, but she stood up suddenly, with a gasp.
"Oh, shoot! I forgot, I have an appointment!" She cried out like she was in complete shock over missing something to important. She absolutely hated playing this game, but she had to. She just wanted him to get out of here before they got into an argument over the beads he was holding. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, but I have to ask you to leave...you can come back later I just...need to close!"
She was rushing around, grabbing her bags and her coat, putting things away and taking things out, trying to rush a close of the shop, apparently. She hated doing this, but on the plus side? She got to go home early!

He gave a smile as he could see that there would be others that couldn't hunt but it was just weird to him. "Well I guess it would be just on how each of us grew up, I suppose," he said.
Tireu was a little startled when Switch gave a sudden gasp as he almost shifted in the store as he grew a few sets of horns on his head and eyes looking more reptilian, but then when he gathered himself the features disapeared. Then his mouth hanging out as he was just going to ask about how much the beads were going to be. "Oh ok," he stammered as he started to leave the shop as he thought to himself that he would never understand humans and there way of always wanting to run around like chickens with there heads cut off. "Well then I will stop on by later on then. You have a good rest of your day," he said and gave her a bow as he pocketed the beads and started to walk home and hoped that this wasn't going to be like how he gotten Arlen.
