sweatdrop College has given me something of a social life. This combined with DJing and newscasting for the college's station, two or three activity groups, homework, my job at the Caf', and the usual assortment of least expected requests for me to do things, like shooting a video of the campus production of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" for the people who did theatre this semester, so they could review their performance.
3nodding Just glad that I'm enrolled for next semester. Even if I'm doing the whole double major thing. CIS and Business with a marketing concentration. Wonder if I'll survive and graduate on time or if I'll be one of those 5 year college students...?

Sounds like you're getting involved in some really interesting and rewarding things! What does CIS stand for? There's nothing wrong with being a 5 year college student. xd Or at least over here. It seems like most people do double degrees so graduating after 5 years is pretty standard. I'm one of only a handful of my friends who are out in the working world after 3 years!

As long as in the end you've gotten your money's worth, there's nothing wrong with staying in college for as long as you need.

CIS stands for computer information systems. 3nodding
I'm not paying for my education at all (combination of Oklahoma's tuition program for children of low earning parents and federal pell grants), hence why I need to finish sooner rather than later. I could pull the stereotypical lower class person living off the system, but I'd rather not, ya know? sweatdrop
I was actually hoping to pull off the 3 year student thing like one of the seniors from my high school pulled off last year, but that'd be difficult with 2 different degrees at once. Unless I want to overload classes for the next two years. I'm sure that might be easy with marketing (thank you vocational education throughout high school), but CIS? Not so much. Outside of HTML, working with hardware and software without a GUI is almost completely alien. xp

Yeah, you can (and it sounds like you are) have so many experiences at uni that are beneficial when you get out in the workforce (and life, generally, since it's not like life is all about work). What's the rush? ^.^
