Rufio had walked down to the lake that was off the river he lived near. He liked to fish here alot, it was easy to catch the fish they practically leaped out of the water. He sat near the edge and piled the sticks he had been carrying and made a nice little pile and pulled out a lighter, and lit them. He had taken to liking his fish cooked as of late. He looked at the lake and walked in just a little. He lowered his tail into the water and flicked it about in small jerky movements to attract the fish. He was very hungry today so he thought that...Ohh three would be good for now. He smiled and felt a bite. With a flick of his tail the fish was up at his side. He pulled it off and stabbed it with his butterfly knife and tossed it onto the side as he lowered his tail in to catch another. He purred to himself and watched the trees for anyone who might be around.

 Caroline had found herself wandering down towards this beautiful lake more often than not. The red-headed curl would find herself lost in thought, staring at the diamond like water. It cleared her head from all the recent encounters she'd had. Especially the one with the ill-tempered Aki. He had not taken a liking to her, and she'd not done anything wrong!
Caroline sighed as she sat at the edge of the lake, her feet dipped in the water up to her ankles. Kicking the water a few times, she blinked when she smelled smoke all of a sudden. Quite alarmed, the golden eyed girl got up from her spot and raced to where the smell was coming from. Around the bend and down a ways.
Oh! It was a controlled fire! Adjusting her shirt, she looked around for the fire keeper and spotted a pale haired cat not to far away. Putting on her cheerful face, Caroline walked towards him with a lovely, "Howdy!"
