Guide to Making Friends
Are you just DYING to have a picture of your favorite animal? Just want to be good friends with as many people as possible? Wanna know just why you should have friends? (you need to go near the bottom for that)
Well, with a little help, you can!

Reason for Friendship?
Why should you become an animal's friend? So what if they like you, so what if they're nicer when you talk to them?
You should try and become friends because friends are awesome. You need friends in real life, right? Ok, I know there's at least one person out there saying 'I have no friends,' but that's not true. Everyone has a friend, if it's the fly in your bedroom or a stuffed teddy bear. One of your friends could be the computer you're staring at right now, or someone who lives with you.
What Do I Get Out of It?
You want something out of it? What a nice friend you are.
Anyway, you can get pictures of the animal friend. A cute picture of the animal's best pose; smiling at the camera. This picture is a treasure you should show off in your house.
The picture also has a small phrase if you 'read the back' by pressing A. 3nodding
Also, pics get a LOT of HRA points!

Waving
When passing by and animal, if you don't have enough time to chit chat, wave.
Stand at a distance, and press on the animal you wish to wave to with the stylus. If sucessful, your character and the animal will turn to face eachother, and you'll both smile and wave!

Just Talking
If you can, try and stop by and talk to them for a little bit. Whenever they ask you something about themself, try and say the nicer thing to make them happy instead of being rude and saying something mean.
But try and talk to them daily, and whenever you have some free time on your hand.

Mailing
I think that animals will like you better when you mail them.
When sending them a letter, try to always include a gift; even if it's a sea shell. Say nice things, and use the best grammar you've got.

Jobs
If an animal askes you to do a job (just talk to them for a little) then try and actually do it.
If it's bringing them an item, such as a certain clothing or furniture, try and actually bring it to them.
If they want you to deliver a letter or present, DO NOT open it. I have to admit sometimes the letters are funny to read and it's fun to see what they got in a present, but if you want them to like you more, try and get it delivered quickly without opening it.

Moving
You can always stop them from moving.
To do so, just walk into their house. If they have been there for a while (they're not just moving in), and they have boxes in their room, that means they're moving out. If you talk to them a lot, and say the first option every time (normally stuff like 'Don't go!' and 'NOOOO!!!!') then they'll sometimes decide to stay. ^^

Another way to get thier picture is when they say "I'll race you for a cockroach" you say your on or whatever catch one and bring it to them and do the nice thing and give it to them. Not only will you get an item but closer friendship.
A second way is to give them furniture that they want in a nice letter saying nice stuff about them and knock 3 birds with 1 stone.
