 It was an intense study. The cold wind whipped past him and threatened to catch on his wings sending him flying off. On top of battling the wind elements his lovely perch buckled under his heavy weight and tended to sway back and forth. It was way more than he was comfortable or smart but it was the best vantage point to watch the new little Hatch lings with out getting the angry parents chasing after him. So the pine tree would just have to endure just a little longer. Suddenly the tree swayed a little more than it should have and Hibari winced as a loud cracking sound began echoing through the forest. Sensing what was about to happen he opened his wings and lifted off before the top completely broke off.
Of course when it rains it pours and he unfortunately caught an extremely strong wind current sending him flying way out of the forest and crash landing into a meadow sending pollen everywhere. Hibari scrunched up his nose and went into a fit of sneezing.

 Iris was walking through the forest, minding her own buisness when she heard the sounds of kits and parents getting after them. Wanting a better view of these new kits, Iris took to the air to look down at them. As she was flying, she noticed a 'Phim sitting on a tree. "What is that one doing up there? with the wind this strong, he must be looney."
Thinking it would be wiser to watch from the ground, she dropped back down and thats when she heard it. A loud cracking sound coming from that tree. Iris looked up and watched the purple and lightning streaked 'Phim attempt to fly off. Laughing she followed the sounds of sneezing. "Well if that wasn't some of the craziest things I have seen." Iris laughs, watching the 'Phim. With that done, Iris turned and walked away from him. Her tail flicked in agitation, "Well there went part of a good day." She spread her wings and took up to the air, letting the strong winds take her high.

 Seika huddled in a tiny ball, the strong winds whipped though her fur, threatening to blow her away. She was watching the other kits with their parents from the relative safety of a small bush. She didn't know where her parents were, she'd hatched alone and none of the others looked like her. She shivered at another gust of wind and a loud cracking rent the air.
She looked up to see a huge shape break the top of a tree off and fly off. Or it tried too. It seemed to be more blown away than flying. She blinked as the large creature fell from sight behind a few trees. Curious, she scampered out of her bush and ran towards the fallen creature.
She came upon the meadow and saw a cloud of yellow that sneezed loudly. Giggling at the thought of a sneezing cloud, Seika bounded forward to see what the creature was, the gust of wind blowing her slightly off course every once in a while. She finally got to the middle of the meadow and happily pounced on the creature's tail.
"Hi! Are you hurted?" She asked.

Hibari managed to stop the infernal sneezing to realize there seemed to be a slight agitation on his tail. As a small little voice reached his ears he turned around to see... a brightly colored kit? "uh am I hurt? well let me see" Hibari told her. His paws worked okay. He swished his tail lightly. Well his tail worked. He carefully moved his wings. Well they weren't broken. "nope I'm fine"

Miss judging the strength of the wind, Iris was sent flying back towards the meadow. Catching herself in time, she took it as a sign, a bad sign, that she should be on the ground for now. She started her decent, when she spied a little brightly colored kit run at the 'Phim.
Iris landed next to the kit and heard her question to Hibari. She watched as he physically moved everything. Shaking her head at the dipslay, Iris turned to look at the kit from all sides.
Looking down her muzzle, Iris asked the little one sweetly, "Where are your parents?" Then she poked the little one with her tail.

Seika giggled as she was swished around with the Big Fluffy's tail. "I'm glad you're not hurted." She said happily.
She felt herself get poked and it over balanced her enough for her to topple off the tail, giggling some more. Seika righted herself before looking up (and up and up) at another arrival. "Oooh. You have lots of colors like me." She said, her tail whipping excitedly.
"Parents?" she tilted her head to the side. "I looked, but I didn't see any parents that looked like me. I think someone forgot to make mine." she said rather matter of factly.

Hibari chuckled a bit at the youngsters amusement before he looked up towards the new arrival of the daeva with a hesitant glance. It didn't seem to want to cause a fight so Hibari would just watch for now. His attention swifted again as he watched in even more amusement as the kit tumbled off laughing.
His heart went out to the little kit when she said she was alone. Everyone should at least have some sort of parental figure for a while. "you dont have any?" he said in a worried voice.

Iris watched the giggling kit, her tail whipping in slight annoyance. "No parents?" She shook her head, that seemed so wrong. "Well dont be an annoyance to this one here." Iris pointed at Hibari with a wing.
And with that she turned, walking away from them. Walking in the forest, she watched the other kits and families getting together, and felt a little tug in her heart. Shaking her head, Iris continued on her way, before realizing that she ciricled right back to the little kit that said has no parents.

Hibari looked down at the rather colorful kit again and then laid down on the ground so he was ground level again. It was against his nature to just leave the kit. he supposed he could watch over the kit for a while. After all it wasnt like he had anywhere pressing to be. He didnt have any family around either.
"so whats your name?" Hibari asked. "I'm Hibari"

Seika glared up at the Big Pokey thing. "I'm not 'noyance, I'm Seika." She tilted her head and watched the color dipped 'Deava leave and bounded over to the Big Fluffy.
"I'm Seika." she repeated to the other one. "It's nice to meet you, HIbari." she said politely before bouncing a bit where she stood. She bounced around him, looking him over since he was different from any other that she'd seen.
"What are those? The Big Pokey had them too." She said, looking at Hibari's wings. "Hers were different though." She made her way back to the front of Hibari and looked up at him questioningly.

"Its nice to meet you seika" Hibari replied watching the little kit following her bouncing form with his eyes.
"ah well you see. They're flying instruments" Hibari answered still thinking about the amusing little bounce monster he had in front of him. suddenly he paused and realized what he had just said 'flying instruments... ugh I should have just called them wings' Hibari mentally shook his head. he should have just kept sleeping the day away this day was not going exactly the way he wanted. He shook his head clearing the thought it was too down for him.

Iris laid down, watching the other two. What is wrong with me? Feelings for a kit that is not even my own?
Shaking her head, her tail whipping around behind her at being called Big Pokey by Seika. She grins an strangely sweet grin when she hears Hibari call his wings 'instruments.' She started to laugh, softly at first but before she stopped, it was loud, the birds flew away in fear and the smaller insects didn't even let out a chirp.
She looks up to see if the other two noticed that she was over in the forest watching them.

"Flying instuments?" She asked, trying the words out on her tongue. "The Big Pokey has flying instuments too." Seika pointed out thoughtfully. Suddenly she hears quite a loud laugh and the sound of frightened birds. Looking up she saw that the Big Pokey was back.
She launched herself in the direction of the large bat-winged 'Deava, having to jump every few seconds to make sure she was going the right way though the tall grass. "Hi hi! You're back! See? You're back." She called, skidding to a stop and bumping into the Deava's paws. She righted herself and started bouncing again. "You have flying instuments." She informed the Deava.

"Yes I suppose she does." Hibari replied. As the sound of laughter reached his ears he looked over at the direction it had come from to find the deava had apparently come back. Predictably seconds later he was watching Seika make her own way over towards her.
To make it easier for seika in case she decided to come back He waded through the grass with more ease than the little colorful kit and stayed a respectful distance away with the deava. You never knew what personality one was going to have.
With Seika's attention turned towards the other It was hibari's turn to lay down in the grass and watch them.

A groan comes out of Iris's maw and she looks down at this bouncey colorful kit. Placing a paw on Seika's tail, she says "Stop bouncing" With a slight gleam in her eyes, Iris opens her mouth, lowering it over Seika's back. She watches Hibari, whispering oh so sweetly in Seika's ear, "They are wings not instuments, you sweet looking little thing." She was testing Hibari. Iris licked the kits back and then her lips, all while waiting for Hibari to react.
