I'm not a coal miner but my hearts still made of coal. I am from West Virginia and my roots come from the mines.

Help me show the coal miners that that we do care. Pass this on to EVERYONE in you friends list and all of your family. This didn't start with me, but I am the first to post this. Please tie a black and a red ribbons or cloth to your antenna our on your porches. Black is to show you morn the loss and red is to show the families that you care and someone is standing with them.

America needs to wake up and realize that it runs on coal and coal byproducts. Plastic, some industrial metals, and medicines are all made from coal as well as some makeup and some clothing dies. With out coal it just wouldn’t be the power going off. Computers, I-pods, Mp3 players, some building materials, bottles, and other things could no longer be made. With out power no one could use the ones they even had. Refrigerators couldn’t keep food from spooling, T.V’s wouldn’t work, people would loose their jobs because factories and other businesses wouldn’t be able to have the work done safe or properly. Things would go back to like they were in the 1800’s. Wake up America you tell us we need to stop mining. You’d only cause the rest of America to fall.

Here in West Virginia the only really good high paying jobs we have are mining, military, doctors, and lawyers. If miners are put out of work then no one will have the money to go to the doctor or the store, the doctors will go out of work, people will start to move away so the lawyers will as well because of their not being any business, stores will go out of business, people that don’t have the funds to move will be left alone and depending on the government for help either though SSI or Welfare.

Please help me wake America up and post this show your support so something like this doesn’t happen again. So we can keep our families and friends’ safe and keep food in our houses.
