It was still early in the night, not long after the sun had set. Seth hadn't gone to school today, so he had been able to drop by home, and change for gym. (No sense in working out in a school uniform, it would be a pain to wash as well as be a hindrance to working out.) He was dressed in a casual outfit of sorts - a wife beater and jeans.
His particular gym, a small place with the barest of equipment, had finally closed down today. The reason he frequented it was because of it's small clientele, which catered to Seth's penchant for being alone. So much to his dislike, he found that the only gym open was this gym. There was a lot of people. Enough said. He surveyed the gym and its occupants, with a disinterested eye, wondering what he should do tonight.
He headed towards the punching bags (A satisfactory place to vent your frustration, it still didn't beat actually punching people.) when a voice spoke out of nowhere. "Hey, new guy - you sure that you're up to this? You're a little skinny on the arms -" A man approached Seth, his words could have been misconstrued for worry, had it not been the smirk on his face.

If there was one thing he could say about frequenting the gym so often, it was that he recognized new people. There were the hard-core gym goers that came every day without fail, the drifters who wandered in whenever they pleased, and the ones who maybe showed up once or twice and never came back. That wasn't to say he spent his time making sure he recognized every single face that came into the gym, of course--but he noticed things. He had no reason to really interact with anyone, unless he wanted a spotter or someone to talk to on the treadmills.
Today was a little different.
The man paused from the bicep curls that were finally starting to take a toll on his arms to watch as, ironically enough, a face he didn't recognized getting hassled by a face he did somewhat recognize.
"You into arms or somethin', Mark?" Drew drawled a little with a lazy grin that seemed to spread across his entire face, setting the weight down and stretching a little. "His arms, in particular?" The guy colored at the accusation, sputtered, and slid elsewhere after making a particularly rude gesture with his hand.
Drew just laughed. "Not every day you get hit on at your local gym, am I right?" Clearly this was not a subject that phased him much.

His gray eyes flickered towards the unexpected help, although judging from his glance, it wasn't so much as help as it was for the red-head amusing himself.
As the other male left, there was only a flat reaction. No blush, or even a thank-you at what just happened. Seth didn't look perturbed at the comment either, which could be because of two reasons. First was the obvious one, that he may have been homosexual, and thus, such comments didn't bother him. Or secondly, it just wasn't in his personality. But judging from his personality, you definitely had to go for the latter. And if someone suggested the first one, well.. that wasn't going to be a pretty sight rest assured.
He looked at Obsidian, with a glance that said 'I didn't need your help.' But surprisingly, he responded to Drew's joke with "It's a nuisance." It looked as if Seth was going to leave the man, until he looked over his shoulder with an expression that was a cross between a smirk and a grin. Something, maybe it was the confident way that the stranger held himself, told him that the male would be an entertaining partner. More entertaining than a inanimate punching bag or the rest of the pathetic sods similar to 'Mark.'
"Tell me, can you fight?"
