For almost no reason at all... I went to a friggin music store without telling my mom and she freaked. I always go places without telling her and she doesn't care if I get back before dark, so I don't get why she freaked out this time, but whatever.
I'm not grounded anymore so whatever.
I still haven't gotten my laptop though, and I miss it.

my parents quit the whole grounding thing fast. i remember the third time i got grounded, it was for three weeks, but my dad and i had this huge fight and it turned into three "months." however, my parents quickly realized that the more i was home, the more obnoxious i became and they began to hate my company, so it was only two weeks.
and now i never really get in trouble. it's weird.
but man, that's a stupid reason to get grounded. i mean, grades, sure. alcohol, yes, grounding is reasonable. but going out? geez, and it wasn't even dark! tough break. time of the month?

I got grounded a bit when I was younger but that was generally for not doing my homework and things of that nature lol

Idk, but like the first time I told my mom I was sexually active she was all cool and told me where her condom stash was, but the second time she found out she freaked out so bad. She made me go on birth control and, my brother sitting in between us, screamed at me for 30 minutes in the waiting room before my appointment for the birth control. Every one in the room was staring... .w.;; I cried so much. it was bad...

My parents tried the whole grounding thing but it never worked....and well then they got this belt...yea....it hurts...plus my dad being a retire navy seal....captain...ouchies...double....I think its just as worst...lol confused

Well, when I used to get "grounded" it would be for no longer than a day, because I would pull the "you're only doing this because you hate me" card, and my mom would fall for it and be like "Oh honey, I love you. Don't be like that. Go out, have fun." but this time my mom was [sort of] serious about it.
I blame my sister-in-law. She kept telling my mom to ground me and I think she just did it to shut her up. Screw that.
It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't seen my laptop. It's at my brother's house so I won't go and take it back! Dang it.
At least she's letting me hang out with friends again, and use the old crap computer...

Last time i got grounded they reduced my shopping limit in my card to 50 bucks a week!!! WTH can you get with 50 bucks a week?!
