Chobi: Thwayya stepped carefully and calculated as she made her way back towards the dens. She'd had a long day of watching her other siblings play. Thwayya wasn't really much of an active cub her self but she enjoyed watching others. It just didn't seem safe to put her self out there. So why do something unsafe?
Now she was heading back to the dens for a nap. A nice safe nap.
Honestly though she hated her self some times. Always playing by the rules and never trying anything. She longed to be able to be brave and go on some form of adventure. Something risky maybe ... but no no that wasn't safe. She could get hurt right?
These thoughts spun through her head as she padded about.
Summer: Tuaika sighed as he kicked the sand with his paws. He had snuck away from his lessons, and was wandering around the lands, avoiding anyone who would catch him.
He looked up to the high sun, and let out a small roar in aggravation. He had absolutely nothing to do, and was completely bored. It was days like these he wished he had more friends than his siblings.
He did meet that one cub. What was her name? Thwayya or something? He hadn't seen her since the night they met.
He sighed again, and plopped down in the sand, rolling on his back to look up at the sun
Chobi: Thwayya heard a roar. It was hard not to hear since the halls in the temple seemed to echo on. The female shrugged and kept walking. After all a roar wasn't anying out of the norm for her. She was a lion her self and she lived among her own kind. Roaring happened.
But something tugged at her in her heart. What if some one was in trouble? What if she had been the only one to hear the roar. The temple seemed fairly empty today after all.
Guilt.
Dare she go and stick out her own neck ... She could pretend she didn't hear it.... ARG!
The female turned around and started off toward the sound . She couldn't let who ever was in trouble stay in trouble right?
Summer: Tuaika blew his hair out of his face. Still only a cub and his small mane was starting to get shaggy. He wondered if it would get worse over time. He growled to himself, and started to roll in the sand, causing dust to fly into the air, and extra sand to cling to his tan fur.
Maybe he should have stayed in his lessons and not wandered off. If he had stayed in his lessons, at least he was with his siblings, and had someone to keep him company.
He blinked a few times before rolling onto his stomach, and standing, shaking the excess sand off of his fur.
Chobi: Dust in the air made the female cub cough and caused her eyes to water some. Maybe she shouldn't have come after all. After all all this dust was irritating her eyes.
She turned her back and was about to start off again when she noticed the cause. Turning once again she got a better look at the lion.
Could it be?
Thwayya took a few small steps forward to get a better look.
Summer: Tuaika looked around, and noticed the familiar dark chocolate color of the cub he had met before.
"Hey!" He said with a smile on his face as he walked up to her, "What are you doing out here?" he asked as he looked around, cautiously searching for any adults that might have followed her out here.
Chobi: The female smiled, so he had been the cub? But he was bigger now.
"I thou-thought some one might need some assistance but I came to find a dust storm instead." She coughed again and frowned. Not that she wasn't happy to see him but the dust in the air made it hard to talk with out coughing.
"Why are you here all alone?" She serpressed a cough. Summer: He laughed lightly as he looked down to her, "Hehe, nah," he looked back over to where he had laid.
"Just me, trying to entertain myself." He looked back over to her, "I thought I'd play hooky for the day." He said as he sat down. "Some of those lessons aren't all that fun, hopefully no one will notice I'm gone." out of thirteen cubs, he doubted he would be missed. Stupid royal lessons.
Chobi: Hooky?
"Whats it like?" She had to know. Thwayya had always wanted to play hooky and go out on her own but the female had always gotten cold paws. She very rarely went any where with out her family.
Though in her head she went on all sort of adventures on her own. Fighting crocs and saving the day and what not.
Summer: He shrugged
"Meh... it sounded like a good idea at first," he said as he looked towards the temple, "But now I'm just bored." He laughed a little, "Probably would have had more fun if I had stayed with my brothers and sisters." After spending all his time with them, he's surprised he isn't sick of them.
Chobi: It might have been a lot less duster too was the thought that first came to Thwayyas mind. The little female kept it to her self though.
"Well... I dont think Id have run into you if you were still in your studies. Maybe.. we could .." She gulped what was she doing. An adventure. Another one? "Maybe we could ...." Her tail lashed a bit in her frustration to make up her own mind.

Summer: Tuaika stood up and shook out his fur again, releasing any extra sand that clung to his fur.
"Yeah?" He asked, blinking away the dust that was still in the air. Maybe he shouldn't have rolled around that much. "We could what?" He tilted his head.
Chobi: The female tilted her head. What could they do .. An adventure.
"Would . you ... like to escort me back to the dens? I.. think I lost my way," This was a lie but it was an excuse to spend more time with her friend. A terrible lie though.
Summer: He looked a little anxious at the mention of going back to the dens. He looked around to see if there were any adults in the area, and leaned down on his front paws, looking up at her with a smile on his face,
"Okay, but we have to do it all sneaky like." He said as he wagged his brown tipped tail, "I heard there were Dogs sneaking around the dens." He said as he winked, trying to make a game out of it.
Chobi: The female gasped. Dogs!? In the dens. But but Thwayya had always believed the dens to be a haven safe from everything. The thought of . GASP! Dogs.. Oh no no no.
"D-dogs?" She stuttered padding closer to the male, her tail tightly tucked between her legs.
Summer: Tuaika held in his laugher as he watched the female. She really believed him. This could get him in a load of trouble. Quickly he looked around to see if there was anything around them that could be a 'dog'.
"Yeah, and the only way to get past them, is if you stay close together, and keep close to the ground like this." He said as he crouched down.
He eyed a cactus and grinned. "Look!" He whispered to her, "There's one now." He motioned to the cactus, hoping she would understand that the dogs were just a way to make the trip back to the dens fun. And keep him away from any royal nannies looking for him.
Chobi: The female bought it hook line and sinker. She nodded and huddled close to the Tuaika.
"Thank you," She whispered. "I .. I wouldnt have known and gotten my self in to some sort of trouble," She closed her eyes tight afraid to even think the thoughts stirring around her skull. It was horrible.
Dogs, she'd never seen any before. Maybe a jackal, but those weren't true dogs now where they? Where they? So small...
Summer: "Don't worry." He whispered back, "I wouldn't want you to be too scared." He said as he turned on his princely charm.
"Now hurry, before it catches onto us." He said as he slowly made his way back towards the dens.
Chobi: The female kept as close as she could to the male with out it being to awkward. She was scared, real scared. Truly she was a little on the naive side jumping at shadows with no proof that they were anything but what she believed them to be.
"Catches us?" She squeaked , "Th-they could hurt us," She shook a little but did as instructed and hurried.
Summer: He looked behind them to the 'dog'.
"Nah, I don't think they could hurt us. Their too stupid to do that." he looked back over to her, nudging against her to help make her feel safe. "But I don't think our parents would like to see them following us."
Chobi: The female nodded. Yeah they didn't seem to smart just standing there their shadows just didn't seem to move. Did they even know that the cubs where there? Guess not.
"Yeah I think my dads would be right mad with me .." She chuckled at the thought though.
Summer: He nodded as they started to make their way into the den area.
"Careful, more of them could be hiding anywhere." He said as he walked slowly, looking around corners for anyone that might catch them.
Chobi: The female closed her eyes tight and huddled closer to the male. She may have made a squeak noise or five... She was scared. Very scared.
Even though she had been assured that the beasts wouldn't hurt her she felt her heart pounding in her throat.
"Wh-why are they here.."
Summer: "I'm not sure." He whispered as he turned his head, looking behind them, "I don't think they'll stay long though." He said as he looked back to her, "If not, I'm sure my da.... I mean, the pharaoh will chase them out." He stopped for a moment before continuing,
"Which den is yours?" he asked as they walked through the temple, their paw steps echoing in the large corridors.

Chobi: Thwayya smiled at that. "The pharaoh must be such a brave lion," She felt all that much more safer all of a sudden.
"You're brave too though," She giggled and took a few bold steps forward now that she was in a familiar area.
"My dens over here, Race ya," She giggled and crouched to the ground. Yeah the fact she was in her haven made her a little braver.
Summer: He nodded, a sense of pride rushing through him, and he flushed a little when she called him brave. He wished he could be as brave as his father. Maybe someday.
He laughed as he ran behind her, 'attempting' to catch up with her.
Chobi: The female laughed running toward her den. She looked over her shoulder to see her friend catching up on her. She squeaked and padded just a bit more then she had been before. She was going to make it ! And ... UMPHHHH
The female hadn't been watching her paws and tripped up on them. She landed and slid back into her den. A surprised look on her face.

Summer: Tuaika skidded to a halt after Thwayya fell in the den.
"Are you alright?" he asked as he leaned down and helped her up to her feet. "That was quite a fall you took." He said, bringing back that princely charm.
Chobi: The female felt her cheeks light up bright red. He was concerned about her and it just made her want to hide her face. A little bit of a crush maybe? Nah that was silly.
"I'm fine," She shook her head, " I think I am at least. Nothing feels broken.. " She gasped right then and there , "UNLESS!! MY NERVE ENDINGS GOT MESSED UP!!! AND ..." Thus the doom rant went on where Thwayya went on about what bad things may have happened to her. All of it was silly and probably unneeded. But Thwayya was a worry wort and it was in her nature.
Maybe one day she'd get over it.
Summer: The young male laughed lightly and rolled his eyes. After letting her go on for a while he leaned down and licked her cheek lightly,
"Are you always like this?" he asked softly as he gave her a gentle smile.
True, he didn't like being treated like the son of the Pharaoh, but boy could he play the part. Not that he didn't like this female, she was fun to play with, and he had to admit, she was kind of cute.
Chobi: The female backed up a little at the cheek lick and batted toward the male softly. Not that she was put off... It just surprised her.
"What do you mean always like this?" To her she was completely normal. She didn't have a problem or something.. Did she? Oh no!
Summer: He chuckled lightly, wondering if what he did was wrong. Maybe he should have waited till they knew each other better. Oh boy... now what.
"Well... um...." Now he was nervous, "I uh..." so much for princely charm. "I should go... its starting to get late." He said as he looked out to the nigh noon sun.
Chobi: Thwayya sat down and nodded, "Yeah its late," She agreed. "BUT .. maybe.. maybe.. I can see you again?" Her voice was small but hopeful.
Summer: Tuaika was about to leave when his ears caught her voice. He looked back with a light smile, and nodded.
"Yeah, I'd like that." He said before he ran off and back to the royal den. So he hadn't messed it up. There was hope for them to still be friends. He couldn't wait to tell his brothers.
Chobi: Thwayya smiled as she watched him go off. The mystereous stranger always seemed to run into her. Had she made a friend? She hoped so.
But right now was sleeping time. Yeah, that sounded good. The female stretched and made her self comfortable.
