I went to visit Cambridge today.

I'm absolutely in love. It's just gorgeous and beautiful. It's one of the two top universities in the UK, as well as being internationally in the top 5 universities (it differs from list to list, but it's usually #2 or #3).

But obviously it's super hard to get into as it only admits the people with the highest academic skill, so I don't want to get my hopes up too much. Still, I'm definitely applying!

I would be afraid to go to such a prestigious university. Even if I got in I would always feel like everyone else was smarter than me and I didn't deserve to be there.

Its very beautiful but I dunno, I don't think I'd feel at home living there. Does that make sense? Like when people have beautiful formal rooms but never sit in them.

I think if I got in, that'd be enough proof for me that I deserved to be there, given how competitive it is.

Actually, punting boats. Several of the colleges have their own punting boats which you can use. They're mostly for tourists though. If I go, I gotta learn/make friends with someone who knows how to punt. xD

I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination. The prices at Cambridge match the prices at most other universities. In fact, it can be cheaper to go to Cambridge, because the colleges are richer (they own expensive land), they can afford to subsidise students more.
