And I don't even know WHY he's gone.
People of Western Washington, Seattle area (or anyone who visits), lend me your ears as I tell you a sad story about a beloved radio personality.
DJ W. No Name, creator of the Alternative Garage Sale to help benefit the Vera Prject, The Morning Alternative host, the one that brought us Thursday's Alternative Music Challenge with people like Cisco the Gardener and E. E. Robbins, along with Jennifer White and possibly Timberlake, was fired as of this week.
On December 27th, at 3pm, The End listeners heard something terrifying.
There was no more Morning Alternative.
The new morning show you might ask?
... Hide your children, it's that bad.
The Adam Corolla Show. Straight from California. That's right, folks. We get to hear that jackoff complain about any little aspect of life he personally doesn't like and listen to commercial music whenever because he has control from 6-10am weekday mornings. This starts January 3. And we thought we got rid of him with Loveline.
Go to http://www.myspace.com/wewantnonameback and follow the directions there to make your voice heard. Get back our morning DJ. Or at least get rid of Adam Corolla. NO ONE WANTS HIM IN SEATTLE. EDIT: Sign this petition!

I listened to the end before it becamse Seattle's Alternative or some s**t. But I still love me some No Name. =]

they could have at least replaced him with something worth listening to... it I had to choose I'd see if they could get the Bob and Tom show... but not getting rid of him in the first place would have been best...

AHHHHH!!!!!! gonk I take a break from the radio and this is what I get to hear about it? Did anyone even say why he was fired? That's... crap. However it makes me believe that he did something stupid to piss the Higher-Ups off... but Adam Corrola? Oh, I hate him!! My mother loves him for some reason, though... whatever John Steward promotes rolleyes Why the hell is Loveline still on, anyway? Is it like Joey, it just won't go away no matter how low it's ratings are? xp @8Bit Jack: No, you don't. If you don't want to put your real name down for any reason, just put a real sounding name. Perhaps something along the lines of 'Jason Fischer' or something common like that.

I have talked to some friends that work there,
and none of us know exactly WHY he was fired.
Something about low ratings and the station wanting more money.
