It seems like everyone that i have seen who is typing on a keyboard hit enter hard compared to the other keys... even i do it, an example is after typing in a web address you hit the enter button harder than the other keys.
why do people do that?

I'm assuming it is a sub-conscious habit, we tend to do things without realizing it....but for something like that....I don't know how it started....but it's going to keep happening...

I did that long ago, I thought it could accelerate the process of the computer itself,

I believe my habit has come from using the typewriter.
I don't actually usually hit my 'enter' key too hard, though.
But I remember that the 'enter' key of my typewriter was a bit stiff. (Maybe that was how all typewriters were...)

I don't think I hit it that hard.

I'm glad I'm not the enter key....it apparently goes through terrible beatings....it would be funny if the enter key led a revolt one day.... biggrin
