The growing trend these days is to make conflicting sides in Gaia events where you can choose one and only one side per account. There have been four such events so far.
1. The Water Balloon Fight of 2007
2. The 2008 Rejected Olympics
3. The Summer Camp Prank War of 2009
4. War of the Demigods in 2009
5. Easter Egg Hunt 2011
6. The 2012 Rejected Olympics
7. Vampire vs Dark Elves Halloween 2012
Which sides did you choose in each event and why? If we keep track of this, maybe we can come together as a guild and lend a significant amount of support to one side or the other in future events.

1. Durem. I sided with Durem because most of my favorite PCs resided there and I liked the look of their flag, best.
2. Durem. See above.
3. Science Camp. It seemed far and away the most intellectually-oriented of the four.
4. Sin. Demons and devils have fascinated me from a young age, which worried me a bit when I was a theistic child. I also loathe the sort of self-righteousness typically found in heroes so I opted to distance myself.

1. Durem. I...dont really remember why, for this one. Seemed like a good idea at the time, I guess.
2. Durem, again, because I felt like staying with the same town.
3. Science, because...science seemed like the most fun and appropriate, I guess.
4. SIN, because...picking the darker side is just a fun thing, I guess. I also found it weird that the Overseer was suddenly a person instead of a clam...

This one is pretty easy for me...
1. Wasn't around
2. Wasn't around
3. Decided not to join, mostly because I thought it sounded far too ridiculous.
4. Sin, mostly because I enjoy darker things and wanted to at least try to help the "evil" side win for once, simply because I wanted to see it somehow affect Gaia as a whole. Needless to say, I was one of countless Gaians that were pissed when it was all thrown to hell. (thanks, Gaia! D<)

Summer 2010:
I've chosen Edmund for a guide.
Incidentally, I chose the Titan as my ship, but I see that less of an allegiance thing and more of a strategic/aesthetic decision, more about method and less about ideology.
I'm not sure if we'll be able to choose one guide, or more, but I hope that most of you side with me on this and choose Edmund as well, especially if there's only one choice.

It seems like they're only really making it easy to back three of the NPCs. I back the following for the pie eating event:
Moira, Meredith, and Dr. Singh... But I also quite like Stein and Jinx. How much is Stein tied up in selling RIGs? I may substitute him in, at some point... I'm not sure.
Let's band together as a guild and push all five to the finals and remember: Real disciples never help modern vampires and that goes for Louie and the VonHelson sisters.

I will look past Louie's incredible looks and refuse to support him.

Though . . .now that you mention it . . since he's a modern vampire that kinda' takes away from the whole urge to vote for him in the first place . . .
I would most definitely never vote for the sisters. Bleck and Ew.
