Seth had just parked his motorbike in a reserved stall, having just finished one of his classes. He pulled off his helmet, attaching it to the bike and dropped the keys into his pocket. Seth wasn't in the best of moods, feeling particularly irate because someone had thought it funny to pull the fire alarm in the middle of class. And of course, there was no fire. If anybody could sleep through a fire alarm, where there seemed to be a bell lining up every corner of the classroom, he would have to give them points. However, Seth hadn't accomplished that task - waking up in the middle of a nap, and thus, his irateness.

On top of that, he had to pick up a textbook at the bookstore. He was tired, annoyed, and worst of all, he wasn't in a tolerating mood. Seth wasn't going to take his anger out on anybody, just the next idiot that crossed his path before he obtained his desired sleep. He basically radiated, 'I will kill you', if that was any indication to how he felt.

Seth, it seemed, wasn't the only individual in a sour mood.

After a week of yet more terrifying nightmares, Ursula Killingworth had decided to see about finding resolution to her nightly terrors. She'd attempted to research her problem online, but all sites pointed to various books that she'd be forced to invest in before she could discover the answers behind troubled sleeping. Ever the penny-pincher for things other than clothing, she put it off, one night, two nights and then after the third night of evil Queen infested dreams... well, Ursula had decided that maybe a trip to the bookstore was indeed in order after all.

Hoisting her purse further up her shoulder, she was so caught up in her own disgruntled state that she missed the shady looking individual out of the corner of her eye. She not only missed his presence but remained completely oblivious as he made his way behind her. It wasn't until one hand had reached out and literally ripped her purse away from her shoulder that she realized what was going on.

The flimsy strap of the purse snapped with barely any pull, Ursula swinging around in surprise at the sudden attack. As quick as she was, however, the thief was quicker. In a manner of seconds, the man was off, dashing down the sidewalk, purse in hand before Ursula had enough time to even scream.

There was a commotion behind him, as some girl squealed as she was knocked over in the pickpocket's haste. "Watch your step, man!" Some other dude yelled behind him in annoyance. People were startled and jarred by the man running through their midst, but many of them were all indifferent or helpless to Ursula's plight. And given the situation, normally, Seth would have never given a thought to that kind of disturbance. After all, it wasn't his business. But the store was in the same direction, where the pickpocket was coming from.

There was a glimpse of the shady individual, the purse tucked beneath his arm as he constantly looked backwards to see if his victim or any cop was following him. "Haha, sucker!" The man muttered beneath his breath. "I was wondering on what I should take my frustration out on." Seth sighed, but at least, someone had come along. A punching bag at the gym was so much less satisfying. Fortunately for Ursula, the male was faster than some pickpocket who had gotten lucky today.

"How much of a pain are you planning to be?" As the pickpocket neared the younger male, Seth geared up his foot - and hit the man square in his stomach, sending him flying for a couple of feet. The stolen purse fell from his grasp, but that really wasn't concerned Seth. "Out from one shot?" He kicked the pickpocket, it wasn't clear whether he was still conscious or not. Personally, Seth was hoping for the latter.

Ursula had been in no shape to run - well, she could have tried, but with the current crowd swarming around, there was no possible way to switch out to Nealite. And without switching to Nealite, she now lacked the ability to simply (and gracefully) dash her way over and retrieve her purse with ease.

Thankfully, however, there was no need for the Negaverse captain to make an appearance. Instead, she watched on in surprise as a young man not only stood in the direct way to stop the thief, but lashed out and actually struck her assailant.

The surrounding crowd had begun to stop and stare at the scene unfolding before them. Ursula herself had paused to gawk, until she quickly remembered there was no way she could personally finish off the pickpocket.

"Police. Someone call the police."

Out of the dozen or so onlookers, a single person - a young woman - had the intelligence to pause from her staring and begin digging through her own purse while everyone else continued to watch Seth as he towered over the toppled individual.

The pickpocket, to Seth's pleasure, had not been knocked out from the hit...and it appeared he had no intentions of waiting around for the police, either.

A glance at his surroundings showed that he wasn't completely unaware of the attention that he was attracting. Unfortunately, he had no like for crowds, nor was he willing to be a public spectacle for them to observe.

But he wasn't willing to let his target leave scot-free either. One kick wasn't sufficient enough for him to vent his frustration after all. Since Seth was expecting him to run, his sudden attempt at a run didn't go successfully. He caught the pick-pocket by his collar, and tightened his grip. "Let's play for a bit longer." And he was dragging the unwilling male, who was struggling with all of his might down the street and into an empty alleyway. His cold expression showed that anyone who might have bothered to follow them would meet with the same fate as the unfortunate pick-pocket, regardless of the fact that they hadn't done anything.

If Ursula was curious enough to follow them, she might have encountered the pickpocket being thrown around violently, the sound of flesh being beaten, and a deafening crack in the silence of the alleyway. The reprieve for the pickpocket came to an end when he skidded to a stop at the entrance of the alleyway. There was a distinct footstep on his face, while Seth sighed and crouched down. He was going to have to do some laundry tonight, according to the smeared blood on his hands, and the lower ends of his sleeves.
