The male was large, though he wasnt all muscle.. The lion was indeed very lean, and he was a handsome male at that. Something he knew all too well, and something many ladies had stopped to tell him.
His pelt did nothing but make him smile. He was bright enough to make others smile, with his lime green pelt and cotton candy colored mane. He smiled, looking up at the sun and letting the gleam catch his amber colored orbs.

He wasnt sure if he would ever fall in love. Well, yes he did. He fell in love each and ever day. Just with multiple woman, and it was a fleeting sort of love.
He chuckled to himself, and shook his head. Would it be possible to find someone that he would want to stay with? He wasnt too sure.. at all.

Melda moved over the lands at a casual pace, enjoying the warmth on the pink, spotted fur. It made her happy to know that this bright sun would not make her miserable, as it would those of darker pelts. She had seen black lions panting and moaning about the sunlight, and it was true it could get quite hot, but she never found reason to get all edgy about it.

Her coat was good at reflecting sunlight.

As she continued her happy walk, she noticed another bright lion not too far ahead of her, though he was less pink and more green. She smiled at the sight of him, venturing closer. "Hello there," she offered, hoping his personality was as bright as his fur, "it's a lovely day today, isn't it? Just perfect for walking!"

He let his tail flick behind his back legs, and the tail fluff would tickle his thigh now and then. He carried himself tall, and confident, as if he had not a care in the world. He was happy with life, and life had always been happy with him.

Though he wasnt aware the moment could get any better when a simply gorgeous female walked into his sight. He would have whistled, had he been that kind of male.. But he purred a little, and walked closer.

"Why hello." He responded, giving a wink. "And a perfect day indeed. Though the sunshine brings me happiness that makes each day quite wonderful." He chuckled. "And then pretty girls come and talk to me and make it better."

She watched him draw closer, sitting herself down though the dirt below was a bit heated by the same sun she had been complimenting not that long ago. Ah well, a warm but was the least she could offer for a chance to talk with a nice, handsome male like the one in front of her. He also seemed pretty nice, which was something she always enjoyed.

Males never seemed as nice as females. Not without wanting something out of them, of course. Whether or not this male wanted something, however, remained to be seen.

She giggled lightly. "Oh really? Well, this pretty girl has a name, if you'd like to hear it. I'm Melda. And what might I have the pleasure of calling you?"

He purred at her name, thinking it sounded simply lovely. He smiled, watching her take a seat. Apparently he was decent enough company, and he was overjoyed at that fact. He smiled brightly, and put a paw to his chest and bowed his head a little in greeting to her.

"Tis a pleasure Melda. Lovely name you have, Im called Misri." He had been told his name meant Sweet. Though it had been forever since he last saw mother.

"oh my! How proper you are," she said with a giggle, watching him offer her a bow. She had never met a lion willing to bow to her before! It was charming. Maybe that's what he wanted it to be, but she couldn't deny the truth. Tilting her head to one side slightly, she mused over his name. Misri. It seemed to fit.

Though she didn't know why.

"I like your name too," she told him, "Misri. Names that start with M are my favorites. What are you doing out here, if I may be so bold as to ask?" She was bold and she did ask.

He liked being charming, it help him feel he was good with the ladies. If he wasnt charming, no one would like him.. He wanted to have friends, and never make enemies.. Though sometimes his practices left enemies all the same.

"M names, eh?" He chuckled, and nodded.
"They definitely are a bit more special than any other name, arent they?"
He winked, and curled his tail over to flick at her leg with its pink tuft.

She smiled. He hadn't answered her question, but she didn't mind too much. If he was thinking about the M name thing he might have simply forgotten about it. There was no rush to pry into the other's personal life, anyway.

"I completely agree!" She looked down at his tail, watching the pink fur brush against her leg. It tickled and made her wiggle happily. "Oh! I'm ticklish!" she yelped lightly.

He grinned as she said she was ticklish, and deviant things entered his mind. Though he forced his thoughts aside and smiled at her pleasantly.

"Im merely a traveler myself. Looking for rare treasures." He said, looking at her as if saying she could easily be a treasure.

"And being ticklish, just makes you more fun." He laughed, his voice booming. He never really had a deep voice, but he had a roar of a laugh.

"Treasure, really?" she hummed, the thought of it making her purr. How exciting it would be to hunt for treasure. She wasn't sure she would have the skill for it, though she had recently visited a pride that explained their way of 'treasure hunting' in a way she felt should could actually do.

Seeing the way he looked at her, she shook her head, getting to her feet playfully just in case he was tempted to try something with the new information she had so easily given him.

"Well, have you found any treasures, mister traveler?" asked the lioness, "I mean, like jewels or something?"

He chuckled, and nodded, easily answering her question.
"Why my dear, Ive found many jewels, many treasures, and I daresay none were as sought after as you." He said with a nod, and a little smile. He was being metaphorical actually.. being that he had never found a non-living jewel in his life.. But it didnt have to be an inanimate object to be special..He enjoyed the thought of life.

He smiled as she backed away, and flicked his tail playfully as if he would do it again, though it was a teasing gesture.

Melda chuckled, looking away from him in flattered embarrassment. "Oh, I think you're wrong about that! I'm not very sought after at all, really. I do enjoy the thought of being a jewel, though. I wonder if there's something out there, a rock or something, that's as pink as I am." She didn't know he wasn't talking real treasure, happy to think about all the shiny things out there other animals might find some kind of value in. Something rare they could pass down from generation to generation.

Though, one could do that with their genes, she supposed.

"I'd say you're more a treasure than I am," she continued after a moment, "your colors are so much nicer than mine!"

He winked at her, closing a little distance between them.
"I would seek you out over a jeweled stone anyday."
He replied, looking her over with her white pelt and her pink leopard spots. She was truly gorgeous, even Rubies he was sure would hold no shine to her.

"Im not sure, but as I said..I think Id prefer seeing you over being dissappointed by a pink stone."

She smiled at the thought of it- someone who would seek her out over any other. Not just over treasured items, though. It would be nice to have someone to seek her out over other lioness too. Maybe one day. Watching him, she didn't move when he got closer, feeling no reason to keep herself distanced from him.

He was rather enchanting.

"Well, it's good that you found me over a pink stone then, isn't it? I'll be your treasure if you let me consider you mine. I think you're better than a stone too! Even though I'm not, as you called it, a traveler looking for treasures, it's still nice to stumble across something nice."

The male smiled, looking at her with honest, yet surprised eyes. He had never thought anyone would want to -keep- him around..and no female had ever been charming enough to keep him around. But she gave him a sense of.. future. He smiled, and closed the distance, nudging into her gently.

"If I can call you my treasure, and you will be mine, then I shall be yours, and I will be yours."
He stated, a smile upon his face..Though the words were far from what he would have ever thought he would want to say.

Melda seemed delighted by the idea, wrapping her tail around him now that he was close enough. Someone wanted her to be his, and not just for one night, hopefully. She was still a little new to this whole thing. Watching him, she couldn't stop smiling, wondering what she was getting herself into while at the same time eager to continue the exploration.

"Alright," she told him after a long moment of examining his face, "I'll be yours, and you'll be mine. We'll both get to have our own special treasure."

"Then mine you shall be." He purred, pushing himself into her, so that he stood slightly taller. He gave a look to the lands around him, wondering where it was they would eventually call home. He liked this new feeling.. He liked it alot.

"So.. Where to now?"
