Welcome to the Fighting System.

The Fighting System is the guild’s way of giving members a taste of Fairy Tail Battles. Instead of dreaming and RPing about the fights, why not actually do it! The Fighting System will allow members to settle differences, show off their skills, and create a persona of a powerful mage.


The POOL :

The Pool is the maximum amount of dice you roll. Your Pool will be divided throughout your attacks and defenses. Everyone begins with the same Pool : 10 dice. So that equals 5 attack, and 5 defense.

EX: Pool = 10 : Attack 5, Defense 5.

Every time you level up, your Pool will go up by 1. When your pool reaches 20, you will be considered top of you class. You will have the chance to Prestige from that point, or remain a top class (whatever class you’re in). When you Prestige, your Pool will return to 10, but you will be able to have a higher hit point. Also when you Prestige, you will be promoted to the next class. You will have a higher dice roll, thus, stronger power levels.


Lives:

Instead of a confusing HP system, the guild will use lives to make things a bit simpler. (Wouldn’t want everyone doing math.) Everyone will begin with the same amount of lives: 3 lives. Your lives can be increased when you level up, by giving up your acquired Pool. Instead of increasing your Pool to 11, you can stay at 10 but increase your lives to 4. There will be no limit to how many lives you can have, but don’t overdo it. You wouldn’t want to have 300 lives with an attack of only 10/4. Then a person with an attack of 20/6 can wipe out all your lives and you wouldn’t have the power to protect yourself.

Battle:

The battle is the fighting part of the entire Fight System. A battle begins when both members have accepted the invitation from each other. Then the Battle begins! These are the steps to a correct battle.

1. The one with a lower Pool decides who goes first. If both persons have equal Pools, they must decide who goes first. The first person chooses whether he attacks or defends.
2. The other person then counters with an attack or defense of his own.
3. The one with a higher dice roll will be allowed to do damage or take an effect. A higher attack will take one of the loser’s lives. A higher defense will activate a special effect. A tie (rarely happens) will result in a draw.
4. The players will take turns taking and making hits until one has no lives left.
5. The winner will be the last one standing.

Attack:
Your attack is your main arsenal in the battlefield. It’s just the simple dice roll that will allow you to take your opponent’s life.
Counter Combo (CC)= You can only use this once the entire battle. A combo is an attack equal to your entire Pool. Good for finishing blows, or surviving a finishing blow.


Defense:
There are two types of Defenses: Recovery, and Special. Each have their own set of rules you must follow so that we can prevent anyone from being a GOD.
Recovery= the only special you can use over and over. It allows you to save your butt when you only have one life left. Each recovery can only recover one life at a time.
Special= This one’s special. It allows you to create a special move that will give you special ability increases. YOU CANNOT USE THIS TO MAKE AN ATTACK. That’s what the attack for. A special can be a time stop (Cammy), a split personality (Bate/Devil), or whatever else you can think of.

Experience:
Your exp is equal to your attack. This is your base exp. Every time you level up, you add your base exp to your current exp. (ex: special=2, base exp=2, level up! Base exp=2, current exp=4. Level up! Base exp=2, current exp=6. Gets?) THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU PLACE IN YOUR LG. This is how much exp anyone who beats you will receive. It can also be what you can offer when placing a job in the job bulletin.

Level Guage (LG) :
You will level up once you fill your LG. The capacity of your LG is equal to the highest rolled number you can roll, (ex: 10 four sided dice=40[10x4], this is your LG. so 10 six sided dice is…? [10x6]) The capacity of your LG will increase every time you level up.
You'll list all your exp gained in your history. Here you add them up until it is equal to or more than you LG. When it reaches this point, you level up!

The Classes : (from lowest to highest)

F : 4 sided dice,
E : 6 sided dice,
D : 8 sided dice,
C : 10 sided dice,
B : 12 sided dice,
A : 20 sided dice,
S : 100 sided dice.

1. Rules can change depending on how the fight system works out. The fight system can also change.
2. No super powered specials.
3. No cheating. Don’t delete your posts just cuz you’re losing.
4. Take Turns when fighting.
5. Have fun!

Your Status:
Your Status is your character’s power level. It involves a very simple system of attacks and defenses that you will use to inflict damage to your opponent. When you first start, you will have an attack of 5 and a defense of 5. You can increase either one when you level up.

You will post your status as a NEW TOPIC in the BATTLE SYSTEM subforum. It will all go like so...

EXAMPLE: TITLE=YOUR NAME

POST 1
Name:What you want to be called.
Class:Your current class. Everyone starts as F class.
Magic:What you specialize in.

(Your power level)
Pool: 11 (everyone starts with 10. I made this one level up once to show you who level up works.)
Lives: 3 (everyone starts with 3)
Attack: by dice roll=5 four sided dice (5/4)
*CC:what sounds like an awesome kill?
Defense: by dice roll=6 four sided dice (6/4)[plus one, level up]
*Recovery: give it a fancy name!
*Special: powers!
