((Singing do-wah-diddy diddy-dum diddy-doo *shot*))
Bovi loved it when spring came about. That meant that restaurants and cafe's opened up their outdoor sections for people who wanted to enjoy the outdoors could enjoy their food and drink in the pleasant sun.
The lab spawn had taken an interest in people watching, amused with the situations that people had a tendancy to get themselves into and how many heads his own looks and rather out of place attire would turn.
It wasn't hot enough to make his preferred attire of what could easily be called modern Venetian type clothing uncomfortable, though he did have his sleeves rolled up a bit to make things a bit cooler. He was at one of the lesser occupied cafes, sipping at a glass of lemon graced iced tea, watching as people strolled by.

A young woman ended up bopping down the street about that point. Her hair was short and black, cut in a very cute little style, and she had large horns atop her head. Her body was curvacious, with large breasts, a thin waist and round hips that swayed just right as she half danced down the sidewalk in a half buttoned white shirt and a pair of jeans that could be considered so tight around the a** that it might as well be illegal. Large white wings adorned her back and a set of headphones adorned her pointed ears, making it obvious she didn't have a clue what was going on around her or how many people were staring.
Whether or not this young woman saw anyone was debatable as the thickly lashed eyes she had seemed to always be closed. However, she did stop after a while, spotting a familiar face at a cafe.
"Bovi!" Ebony greeted happily, pausing her music and running over to stand by his table. "How've you been? It's been a while! You've grown!"

Not only was Bovi pleased to watch such a lovely lady walk by, but she even seemed to know him. It only took a few moments of reaching back into his memory files to remember who she was. It was Ebony, the teenager he met at the mall during Christmas time when he was a child.
"It has been awhile Ebony," he said with a nod as he stood, holding out his hand to her with a gentle smile. "It's so nice to see you again! I haven't seen anyone from the labs for a few months."
He then motioned to the table he had been sitting at. "Do you have the time to join me for a bit? I'd love to catch up with you"

"Sure I do." Ebby said pleasantly, taking the empty seat and smiling over at the teen. "I was just out for a walk anyway."
"I know how that can be - I haven't seen anyone from there in a while either. Or hadn't, rather, I've been seeing more and more lately. Mostly, work had me busy but I'm starting to free up again. What have you been up to?"

Bovi sat himself back down once Ebony had taken a seat and smiled, picking his drink back up, though he quickly sat it back down again.
"You want anything to drink? My treat," he offered before sitting a bit more comfortably in his chair.
"Ah yes, I caught your Christmas performance. Shylock invited me. Apparently his father was in the production?" He combed his fingers through his bangs to move them a bit further away from his eyes. "It was a wonderful performance though. May I ask, is the maroon skinned woman that was also part of the show from the labs?"
He then chuckled a bit. "Oh, I haven't been up to anything interesting really. Mother adopted a child from another lab, so I've been helping to take care of him. Other then that I've just been going here and going there, trying to find my place in the world. I am slightly disappointed that I never got to meet my demon DNA donor though...I was looking forward to that meeting..."

"Oh, sure. Just a tea or a water though." Ebby said politely. She'd have declined but the woman was rather thristy at this point.
"That was nice of him." she commented - she'd met the boy once or twice, through his father. "Thank you. Yes she is - Mareike is a wrath diligence spawn. She's very good at keeping up the activity for shows like that."
"Oh? What sort of lab?" Ebby inquired toying with the end of her hair a bit and blinking her thickly lashed eyes. "You haven't met Enki yet?" the last remark was met with much more surprise than the first.

Bovi raised his hand to get the attention of one of the wandering waiters. Once he arrived, Bovi smiled. "A tea for my lady friend if you'd be so kind?" The man nodded as he wrote it down and scuttled off, though not before taking a good long look at Ebony.
"Ah, I thought so. I'm pretty sure I caught sight of the metal wing spines," he commented with a nod.
"As for what kind of lab, it's somewhat like Sevens, only it's mythical beasts being combined with mythical humanoids. I like that place though. Every subject is perfectly willing and are taken very good care of. Ballare, my brother, is actually a rarer case and is supposedly a DNA combination of a Christmas elf and Rudolf himself!" He beamed, so proud of his little brother, and it was obvious that Bovi cared a lot for him.
"And yes, I didn't get to meet him. I called up the labs to schedule a meeting but they said it wasn't necessary, and just hung up when I asked why...That place seems to find new ways to confound me..." he said with a sigh.

"Yep." Ebby laughed, "She's very proud of her wings."
"Oh?" more interest could be heard in this exclamation as she lightly rested her head on a hand and listened to him. "Sounds adorable. You'll have to introduce me at some point. And you say they're all willing and treated well? I'll have to check that out."
"That sucks. They really go out of their way to cause trouble." she commented dryly before smiling again, "I'm sure I can get you in to see him at some point."

Bovi grinned before sipping on his glass of tea for a moment. "I would be more then happy to introduce him to you at some point. He loves meeting new people after all," he said with a grin as he watched the waiter return with a glass of tea for Ebony, setting it in front of her before leaving once again. "The place is called Mystic Mixers if I recall correctly..." he mused before setting his glass down again.
"You think you could? I would be forever grateful if you could convince them to let me meet him..." he said before he stopped to think for a moment. "I guess you know your way around the facility then? I myself haven't been there all that much...just the occasional class."

"Sounds like a nice place." Ebony commented with a nod, thanking the waiter as he passed and starting to sip her tea.
"Oh yes, I've been there many times since I was little. I tend to prefer not attending the classes, I mostly just go to visit the demons and angels."

"So they let you visit more than just your DNA donors?" Bovi asked, somewhat surprised. He couldn't go to even visit his DNA donor father, yet Ebony had met more than just her parents of sorts.
"Huh, well I haven't attended many classes myself either, though I am semi-interested in the focus class I should be taking soon. So far I haven't had word yet on when that'll start though..." he mused before laughing lightly.
"So what else have you been up to Ebony, besides performing I mean?" he asked, trying to expand the conversation a bit.

"Well, I befriended the one admin guy there." Ebby explained with a grin. "He let me meet some of the less dangerous demons and some of the angels. I didn't meet either of my DNA donors till I was a good bit older and neither meeting was as satisfactory as I'd have liked." her voice turned a bit darker towards the end of it - she'd hated the one meeting.
"Oh you'll like it. Mr. Zyane's very smart." she assured him. "You have to attend those with a few other spawn your age and they tend to go decently fast. They'll write to you when it's time."
"Mmm just going around town, visiting friends and whatnot."

"Well that's sad to hear. I had a pleasant meeting with the angel donor when I was smaller. Polondraeli was a very nice lady. I'd like to see her again if I could," he said with a small nod.
"Mr. Zyane eh? I'll have to remember that," he said with a smile.
"Ah, so I see. I really should look up Skylock again. I haven't seen him in a while..." he mused openly before taking another swig of tea.

"I remember Pol - I helped her plan a babyshower for one of her other kids." Ebby said with a waved hand, "She's not as easy to catch though. Enki's easier to find."
"Shy's probably just been busy. You should come to Cirque though, he's around there a lot."

"I think it was during that time that I caught her. She was carrying napkins for it when she caught sight of me. Long story short she dropped everything to come over to see me, literally. Half of the meeting was us picking up the things she dropped," he said with a light laugh. That was an amusing meeting to be sure.
"Oh, is it because of his dad working for them, or does he have a job with them too?" he asked, curious.
