I need an herb that helps to make my dreams more visual and vivid. I smoke various herbs but I was hoping for something that I could sleep by or something and have that effect happen.
I've never used an herb to sleep by for more vivid dreams before. I honestly am a skeptic on how well it will work. But, I don't know how well it will work until I try it out, right?
I'm hoping it's something that's easily available as my money situation could be a lot better and Utah doesn't have much in the way of herbalist stores. Well, let me rephrase that. A Utah herbal store just has a bunch of weight loss drugs.
I smoke Damiana which speeds up your metabolism. I like green tea as well. I walk around a lot and have an active love life. If my metabolism is much faster I'll have to eat two large pizzas a day just to stay satisfied. My calories are practically gone as soon as they hit my body some days. I have actually sped my metabolism up to the point where I have had to purposely slow it down. It's freaking crazy what Damiana does to you after a while.
So it's quite aggravating. If anyone knows of any herbs that do this that can be ordered from the web or found in whole foods stores. Or even found in some tea so I can drink it before bed. Then that would be flat out totally completely awesome.
Anyhow, there is my basic problem. I live in a state that doesn't cater very much to witchcraft in general. Nope, we just get the major religion here with hands so deep in government that anti smoking laws get back doored without any real voting process. Which actually did happen recently. Like, a month ago.
Meh, could be worse. I could live in the bible belt. Don't get me wrong I'm not hating on anyone's religion. I just don't like the fanatics and the lack of separation between church and state.
And a lot of these herbs like blue lotus which is great for such a use should I add it into an extraction and do my thing to it. Well, the only way I can really get a hold of it is if I order it off the internet. Again, thank you Utah! *sarcasm*
So, the more common the herb the better. As well as, the cheaper the better.

If you research it online, you can find all sorts of herbs- though I'm partial to divination pillows, myself. They're much more interesting and last longer, in my opinion, anyway.
By the way, what exactly is Damiana? neutral

By the way, what exactly is Damiana? neutral Damiana, Turnera Diffusa, A general aphrodisiac. It can be smoked or put into a tea. It helps with menstrual cramps. Works as a laxative, or a sedative. Speeds up your metabolism. May make dreams more vivid. When smoked daily the mild euphoria will stack day after day so you're randomly feeling a warm relaxed high throughout the day. A tonic cleanser. In other words you poop a lot more on this stuff. Also a diaretic, so it makes you pee more. It cleans your system out. Boosts your sex drive if you are male especially. Women either will be more relaxed on it or in some cases tearing their clothes off. I have heard of it being used a sexual stimulant spray. I have made hash out of it. Smoked it. Mixed it with other legal herbs as a smoke. And can even increase some psychic perceptions. It is a very versatile herb that can be processed many different ways. I have seen honey hash made out of it. Cooked with oil to make hash from it. I have seen it rolled as a smoke. It is quite relaxing to drink as a tea. It also serves as an excellent marijuana substitute. And, it's under 20 bucks a pound over the internet. Hm, I think I have everything. As you can tell. I enjoy using it. OH! I forgot about how smoking it actually can help allergies and sinuses. Haven't tested how well the tea does this because quite frankly I love to smoke this stuff. What is a divination pillow?

This site not only tells you the herbs but can give you the exact way to use it for best results. http://psychoactiveherbs.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=161 you can also purchase from this site.
Here is another interesting online store http://www.iamshaman.com/default.htm
And another http://www.shamanic-extracts.com/xcart/shamanic-ethnobotanicals/dream-inducing-herbs/
Here's a bit on dream pillows http://www.longcreekherbs.com/dreampillows.shtml
Now here's what you need to know...
Dream pillows are nice. Mostly if you want to go to sleep, though. They bring nice peaceful dreams as appose to prophetic of insightful dreams. If your wishing to get clarity on something then you will want to look more into the first link I have up there.
The tree herbs mentioned, African Dream Root, Calea Zacatechichi, and Valerian can have similar effects to your dreams as taking peyote for a "truth journey".
Let me know if you have any questions.

I hope I have helped. I put up links first so that you have the opportunity to come to your own conclusion. I could sit here and tell you all I know about this subject, but that would be pointless, seeing as I wouldn't recommend anyone to just take someone's advice on what they are planing on smoking or drinking (generally putting anything into your body). It's important to search, and search again.
If you have any specific questions, I would be more then happy to answer and then sight sources.

I came up with several options and things to try. Everyone has helped. I am very pro active in my gaining of information. I have posted this exact topic in like five other mysticism guilds.

That is excellent. ^^ Have you found anything that has worked yet? Or are you still in the research and/or buying/locating process?

So any specifics on what the dreams were meant for? If you don't want to tell, I understand.
