Hello. If you've reached this far into the Guild, I suppose you're already here for the same reason as I am. But, I thought I might expand on myself and a little more on how I feel about the changes going on around Gaia. First off, let me tell you that my username is Disco and Dark Shadows, but you can call me Disco. I'm 23, and this is my fourth account. Due to stalker issues and a hacking, I have been forced to give up my 5 year account (my gaiaversary was Feburary 3), and create this one. I hate when people look at the age of an account and automatically assume that people are n00bs. Dont call me a n00b, or deal with my wrath. I am far from being one, and I find it offensive to be called it. Now, a little about me: I enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music. I write poetry and lyrics, and can often be found off in a secluded place writing. I write everything (my feelings, my experiences, etc.) In fact, if writing were not part of my life, I don't think I'd be able to function. But that is beside the point. Being that I have been a member of this site since almost the very beginning, I have seen all of the changes it's gone through. And personally, I hate the direction Gaia is going. If I wasn't so addicted to the writing and tekteking forums, I probably would have quit Gaia by now. Gaia has become way too commercialized (skittles, mtv, etc.), and honestly, it's rather frustrating. What happened to good 'ole fun, and buying MCs? The MC's aren't even really worth anything anymore due to the EI's. I remember when the gaiaconomy wasn't so skyrocketed, and when getting an Angelic Halo was actually possible. What happened to those days? And why aren't more people resisting all of this. That's why, when I found this guild through a friend of mine, I had to join. I had finally found people who thought like me. Let us lift our voices in the chance that we might be heard!
